We left out some Oatmeal Scotchies for Santa this year. What kind of cookies did Santa get at your house?

Well when I wrote a letter to my grand daughters FROM Santa and sent them to Fairbanks,Alaska to be post marked with "Santa's Village, North Pole, Alaska" so they'd get their letters from Santa....I put in there that he says his reindeers love RootBeer and celery. They got the letters before Christmas nad told mom's they had to get those things... moms did and Santa and the reindeers loved them! I do the letters every year and it is different every year as to what Santa says he wants! Just gives the kids something extra to dream about and talk about and gives Santa a bit more life! They sure love it!

That is a really cool idea. That way the kids know for sure what to leave.

None this year LOL my son was told by one of his friends at school that Santa doesn't exist and that his parents are the ones that buy his presents LOL i thought he would cry like last year when I told him santa didn't exist - he wasn't ready to hear it then but he immediately believed his friend and came home and told us LOL so he said no need to put cookies out for santa now because you and daddy will just eat it LOL

This year my mom made delicious candy bar cookies; with layers of sugar cookie crust, melty caramel and chocolate. We also made some peanut butter cookies, lemon bars and kiss chocolate drops. :)

We usually give Santa chocolate chip cookies. That is what Santa tells my daughter. But this year my sister in law made wonderful oatmeal cookies. So we told my daughter that she received an email from Santa asking for them.

I bought these swirled Nestle Tollhouse morsels. They were white chocolate, some were swirled with red and others with green. I added some regular chocolate chips to it too. I didn't like them though, the white chocolate wasn't very good, and for some reason the batter didn't look right when I was making the cookies. But that's what we left him. I let the kids try the cookies first and they said Santa would love them, so that's what we put out.

Kids are normally pretty easy to please when it comes to cookies.
