I am happy to say that after only the second day of the New Year, I have already had a physical panda spanking moment and done something stupid! Yep. I woke up this morning, got dressed and headed to the office. I walk into the office and get ready to start doing my thing and when I look down, I see that I am still wearing my slippers! Hey, I got the rest of the outfit right! lol. Have you managed to do something stupid yourself in 2009 yet or are the stupid action genes still building up in preparation? You can even share a late 2008 stupid action on your part if you are yet to panda spank in practice this year! (Slippers are comfy by the way!)

Hahahaha. It is very funny that you mention a glasses example mimpi because just last night I was looking for my glasses and they were on top of my head! I realized this in a matter of ten seconds or so, but still! lol. Stuoid is as stupid does right? Maybe Forrest Gump was onta somethin'! Thamks for the comments and keep the stupidity flow coming mimpi! We owe it to ourselves and to up and coming panda spankers to always practice what we preach!

Well, James, I think I can offer a competitive idiocy. Today, instead of handing her the car keys and waving as she drove off, I went clothes shopping with my other half. Yes. I truly did. Really. When I got home I had to spend some time spanking the panda to regain my sense of equilibrium. She didn't buy anything. Lash

You may have just set back masculinity 100 years Lash! Good God man, we may ALL be expected to go clothes shopping now because of this! Spank away and spank hard Lash, panda spanking men throughout the world need you back on the right side. Try to stay away from the dark side in future..... (And of course she didn't BUY anything, they never DO when we tag along! lol)

OH! No tears sharra..... No tears! Sorry to hear about your back. I spent 8 months in rehabilitation many years ago when I injured my back so I am no stranger to back pain. What I suggest also is that next time you go shopping and size 8 - 10 seems to be the only ones available, buy two size 6 - 8's and cut 'em then join 'em to make a new 12 - 16! If you need any more excellent clothing advice then you know where to find me.

Oh dear. Well it would be no good giving me the car keys as I cannot drive with my back in so much pain. I can barely walk. I concede that it was not a good idea having the two of us shopping for me. Oh well the first shop we both went shopping for ourselves and I was the only one who could not find anything to buy. Nothing I wanted in my size all of it was for skinny little size 8's and 10's. The mistake was trudging around the other shops looking for a skirt that was not expensive but simple and cool for around the house and garden. That was a joke. It was all fashion stuff not at all what I was looking for. Not to mention a very tired but patient man hanging around at the front of the shop waiting for me as I ruled out the stuff that was there. Not only did we not buy anything but it made my back pain worse and he got grumpy because I couldn't find anything.

Welcome 2009 . The year of the Panda. Sure you were not wearing your pyjamas as well James ? I'm yet to get into panda spanking gear as yet , but do remember a time when i wore a different set of socks and it was noticed by one of my colleagues who had a good laugh. Then there was time at a party when the soles of one of my shoes fell off. Did not shave the mustasche growth once and realised it in the office.

it did happen to me on 31st..we had a get-together in the evening and i was getting ready for it.i hurriedly had a french bath and i did put on my shower cap.after that,i went about readying my kids,i completely forgot about my hair and shower cap and nobody commented, especially my in-laws.my hubby was busy with some other guests.it was only at midnight(12.15am),he asked me whether i was going to take bath.i answered back with wtf(i was so tired,he was the only person,i could take it out on).it was only when my kids asked what was it i had put on my hair, did i look myself in the mirror,i totally freaked out

French bath? Are they anything like those Norwegian showers? At least you managed to stay inside the whole time and not go out with your shower cap on! lol. But to go the entire evening without even your guests saying anything is pretty funny. I am trying to imagine how you could go a whole evening and NOT realize you had a cap on and I just can't work out how you managed this. But then again, I never realized I still had slippers on either, so when we are tired, I guess anything can happen! You are lucky no-one took a photo!

I spent 2 hours taking down and putting away Christmas stuff yesterday. The living room is all nice and clean, the desk top and the fire place are back to their normal state, all the glitter and a couple of broken ornaments vacuumed up. I even cleaned out and rearranged the storage closet so that my Christmas stuff and beading supplies can co-exist in this one little space. Yep, I am a happy girl. I have not left the task of clearing away Christmas until February, this year. As I sat having a conversation with Hubby this morning, I looked up and realized that I had not taken the stuff from around the living room window down! Now I have to go find the box that the stuff goes in, probably pull out 5 boxes to get to the right one, put the stuff in the box, put the box back on the shelf and put all the other stuff back on top of that! The tree was sitting right in front of the window! How the heck did I miss that!?

I am sorry to say that these were my standard brown slippers Bo. The fuzzy panda slippers are on hiatus at the moment to get some R & R. You see, I wore the panda slippers while trying to catch friggin' Santa! That failed, so they need a rest. Now this window you mention, this is the one that your Mom was getting frustrated with you about because you're a damn perfectionist right? lol. Let it all GO now will ya. I realize it took you time but you can always put it back up better than ever before during next Christmas. Breathe Diddly..... BREATHE! The box is in the cupboard near the garage by the way.

Slippers are comfy but they never go well with a suit. :-D Hmmm...stupid? I could count the non-stupid days better. There was this one time I went to the nearest grocery to buy chips, and I paid the cashier my grocery list. I walked out of the grocery as if nothing happened. I wondered why they didn't stop me. I realized later when I got home that I still had my money and the grocery list was gone.

lol. No argument there Theresa! Maybe if I were to come up with a style of slippers that DID go with a suit, I could make a small fortune! Thankfully this was not a workday where all other staff were in the office, so I didn't have my suit on. It would have been even funnier if I did though! So youcreated a whole new form of currency then?? Hahahahaha. I'm amazed that the cashier said nothing too?? I would never have to worry about doing the same thing you did because 9 times out of ten, when I go shopping and have a list, I forget the damn list! lol. Thanks for sharing this story.

I have a gut feeling that the cashier's gonna join mylot and post her own response. Her story's gonna go like this: A customer came in to buy a bag of chips. She paid me her grocery list. I accepted it wholeheartedly!

lol..that was funny....and reminds me of the time when my mom got dressed up for a wedding and forget the sandals....she was still in her slippers and we had to stop enroute to the wedding to get her new sandals! hmmm....on December 30th, I went to the ATM to withdraw some cash (which I've done umpteen number of times before) and just couldn't figure out what was going wrong. Some guys were peeping through the window (which they aren't supposed to do but I'm glad they did) and laughing at me.....till was only then that I realized that I was putting in the card the wrong way. I was so embarassed and felt like a fool....I mean how can I get that wrong???? That's the silly thing I did recently. There's been no time for panda spanking for me because I've been busy studying for my exams:(

lol..one good thing came out of the 'wedding slippers'...we all wear our sandals before we drape the sari (which is how it is supposed to be done in the first place since we need to know the height of our heels). lol...we have enough of panda spanking happening in the family but I'm so flustered most of the time with so much to do that I end up yelling at the panda spankers. My new year resolution this year is to enjoy the panda spankings and lighten up. I hope it's going to be easy with the younger one growing up quickly. Thank you for the exam wishes...I couldn't make it for today's paper because there was no one to babysit:(

I think we ALL have examples of panda spanking throughout our families Sandhya and have had them for as long as we can remember. The only thing being that we now have a name for it! I never considered wearing slippers with my sari when I was back in India and used to go barefoot most of the time. I looked great in the sparkly fabrics too I can tell ya! I look forward to hearing how high your exam scores were in due course too.

Hahahaha. Wedding slippers! My scenario pales in comparison to that one Sandhya as I was heading into an empty office! I have had some awkward ATM moments myself. And the worst thing about it is that I get flustered and start getting angry at the machine only to realize that I'm a dumb a$$ in the first place! Good luck with your exams and I look forward to them being over so you can get spankin' like you should be. Happy New Year and Happy Year of the Panda to you and your family.

LOL too funny. I have done something similar in the past. I ALWAYS wear my crocks ok and they are basically my slippers so before I leave the house i have to watch that I have taken them off. I used to work the front desk of a hotel and so I was all decked out and when I got to work I realized I had my crocks on LOL. I did it at a past job where you had to have sneakers on LOL I felt like a total dork. Don't worry it will probably happen again at some point in your life LOL in a few years you will look back and laugh at yourself hysterically LOL

Well I feel like I am the panda being spanked at the moment. I have been crippled with back pain since Christmas day. It is not fun and I can barely walk let alone spank any pandas. I am not sure when I will be able to spank my pandas at all so I am handing my pandas over to grandpa_lash until I am recovered. Hmm still had your slippers on. Slippers are very comfy. I love my slippers. Well as for the silly thing I did I reinjured my back when it was just starting to get better. I was just bending slightly to put something in a draw and I felt the muscle hurt again. Since then I have been hobbling. Oh dear.

This doesn't sound very nice at all sharra. I assure you that multiple pandas will be kept primed and ready so the minute you are up to it, there will be plenty of spankees available for ya. They are in good hands with Lash (That's whatt I believe and I'm gonna stick to it!) so hang tough and hopefully all will be bearable again soon. (Pardon the pun!) Thank you for the sympathy. I am feeling a bit better today as I have had a hot lavender bag on my back for 5 hours now. I woke up in the worst pain I have ever felt, must have not stiff over night, then I remember the bag and it is working so the pain has eased some what. I may have to go to the doctor on next week just to see if there is anything he can do. If the problem is what I think it is then the only cure is rest. I cannot take NSAID's as they make me sick. The hot bag seems to work as well as the NSAID's anyway but it is so hot here in summer that it is hard to use. Still today is a bit cooler so I will use it all day and hope it gives me enough relief to function again.

that is a real panda spanker James. i remember one time getting up before the birds do, going through the whole morning ritual, driving to work, only to find nobody else was there. so i as i sat there trying to figure out what holiday i had forgotten about or thinking the "rapture" had occurred, and as expected i was left behind, my co-workers finally started arriving. I FORGOT ABOUT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS AND NEVER SET MY CLOCKS BACK!!! and of course missed out on that blessed extra hour of sleep. yeah that was a real Spanked Panda day. BTW.....i plan on getting a lot of panda spanking done this year.

What time DO the birds get up now anyways sconi? Is it before or after the worm these days? I am extremely happy to hear that you plan to do a hell of a lot of panda spanking this year and I think a good start would be to NEVER set your clock's back ever again. Move through life on your own time sconi and let the other plebs try and keep up, that's what I reckon! You had a whole hour in that office to yourself by the way. Did you switch the normal coffee to de-caf so you could then switch it back again to full strength a month later and watch everyone go insane from caffeine? Please tell me you did SOMETHING in the hour alone!

Whilst visiting my mum one afternoon I decided to ring home to ask 'him indoors' to get the washing in as rain was threatening. The line was engaged so I tried again...& again... Realising that he is not in the habit of making calls & only a few people ever call us, I eventually concluded that he had collapsed on the floor whilst attempting to phone for an ambulance (for no logical reason) so felt obliged to drive home. He was in 'lying on the sofa watching TV' mode, perfectly safe. I explained that I'd been trying to call & apparently, the phone hadn't rung at all. It was only when I picked up the receiver to check for a fault, that It dawned on me that the number I'd been dialling, from my mum's phone was.... my mum's phone number.
