Do you believe that Israel's invasion of Gaza is justified?

No, absolutely not, and I have made my opinions quite well-known in the mylot community. If you would like to hear a rational opinion of the matter check out the Jewish Voice for Peace. http://www.jewishvoiceforpeace.org/

Murderistic, since you are arguing the no side, what do you think Israel should have done in response to the rocket attacks?

If Israel was actually protecting itself from rocket attacks, I could answer that question. What Israel did was practice collective punishment and a humanitarian crisis by not allowing adequate resources into the border, kill a Palestinian without a trial or just cause which triggered the rocket attacks, and are now completely demolishing the land with no concern for using human shields and killing innocent civilians and even destroying UN buildings and workers - all of which are going to make Israel more vulnerable to terror attacks in the long term.

you do realize that the rocket attacks are not a recent development. Hamas has launched over 11,000 rockets into Israel over the past 8 years. Also Israel was created in the aftermath of WWII in an attempt by the United nations to make a country where Jews could live, thus greatly decreasing the likelihood of a second holocaust. Not to mention that if you go back as far as written record allow you will see that the Jews were forced out, of the area now called Israel, by the Palestinians long before the nation of Israel was created.

How long do you think it is desirable to live as a civilian while rockets are being lobbed at you, landing in your yard and next to your kids' schools? How long should any country allow that to happen? How do you expect the Israeli forces to take out just the Hamas when Hamas soldiers hide in houses and mosques? I'm just asking.

maybe... from recent situation i think they (zionis) wants to eliminate the non-jewish in gaza because their killed more civil than hamas army if hamas is what they after... with their hi-tech war equipment the should now where the hamas is hiding so it can eliminate civil victims why can't they (israel & palestine) just live side by side??

As I am not a citizen of either country I have to say it is none of my business. It is between them and they will have to find a way to settle things.

This is really a difficult opinion to share without getting someone offended. Many things should be considered, but first of all history should be considered. Israel didn't wake up one morning and decided to act. Israel have the right to exist as is Palestine, and a compromise must be found and the only way is talking. What I don't agree with the current situation is when Israel decided to act, in a transitional period at the White House where, I guess, until February at the earliest, there is no real will to help the situation. Bush never care anyway. So Israel don't get any threat from the old admin., and can say sorry, we do not do it again, to the new one. Alex
