When I go on the internet I'm usually on it for about an hour or two at a time. Sometimes I go on for a little while, log off and then go back on again later in the day. What is the longest that you've been on the internet at any given time?

About 10 hours or more on a day. I don't know why or how. I just sat infront of my pc and started researching for informations to start my blog. I usually sit for 4 to 5 hours at night if i am on something. If i feel sleepy, i will browse for 2 hours or so.

That's a long time. Does it ever bother your eyes?

i have a lcd monitor and i have adjusted it in such a way that only less radiations comes from it. If we have good lightings, correct posture and brightness set to low, our eyes will not have any problems.

Back when AOL first started and the chatrooms were all the rage, I actually stayed online, chatting from midmorning until waaay after midnight that night. It was the newness that attracted me then and it was the first time that I was able to make friends online. I've never stayed on for more than a couple of hours at a time since then.

I've been online for 3 to 4 days in one go - i have some downloads on bittorent all the time, so during hols i ofte keep the PC running for a few days, and give it a 1 day rest after that - i dont want short circuits and such. The problem with a PC running really long is that its parts wear out faster and the CPU slows down because of it. Unlike a server, the pC isn't built to run for days together, and needs proper care every now and then. I see you keep it on for the entire day as well. Happy mylotting.

I actually log off and put my computer in "standby" when I'm not using the computer. Then I'll log back on for about an hour or two later.

Internet is part of my life dude! :) Well, I am also a programmer and so most of the time I am in front of my PC/Laptop - even at work. I am also not that social person. So, you will see me being online on and on. I am online no matter what! lol --------------------------- www.telapoka.com

I think the longest that I have been on the internet at one time, was for about 36 hours straight. I had alot of work to do.

I am normally on and off all day. I did have about a month almost 2 years ago when I was not online. My internet was messing up and I was having trouble getting it fixed. Darn dish and trees in the way.

Time goes so fast when your on the internet it's hard to tell. I think I have been on it up to 3 or 4 hours sometimes. Of course when the kids are at school and the little one is napping. But there are times I also will get on and then be on for about 10 minutes or less and log off then at a later time get back on. Most times I am on only an hour or two though. Then I have to actually get something done at home.
