New Puzzles at Jigsaw Detective

Pogo has a new banner on the home page announcing NEW PUZZLES at Jigsaw Detective. Being a jigsaw fan, I couldn't wait to try them out. When I got there, all I saw was the same old 100 or so puzzles. Replaying the same ones over and over and over gets to be beyond boring! You would think that now that they've come out with Jigsaw Treasure Hunters, with 1000+ puzzles, that they'd figure out a way to add more to Detective...wouldn't you? I wrote a letter to the Editor asking if they're celebrating April Fool's a bit early...I doubt if that will get printed...lol. Has anyone seen new puzzles there?

I'm WAY behind with Jigsaw Detective. It was the only game I played for awhile but then I got bored with it, so it's been awhile since I've played it. I might peek in later to see if any new puzzles pop up. Right now I'm trying to get caught up on Trivial Pursuit. It's funny you brought this up because earlier today I was just thinking about how long it's been since I've played the game. I'm afraid to see how far behind I am!

Don't feel bad...out of 54 game award badges, I only have 19, although most of the cases have at least been started. I think there are 5 new puzzles with each case. If they at least added those to the 'puzzle pool' the available puzzles would increase over the 100 or so that they have. I usually play on medium level, so it takes 25 puzzles to complete the case. Of those, 5 are the unique case puzzles and the rest (20) are repeatedly played from that pool of 100 or so puzzles. You can see how tedious it gets. In Jigsaw Treasure Hunter, there are 1,000 puzzles. I'm on level 44 in that and have only rarely repeated puzzles...and certainly not enough to get so tedious. I may have to wait and do Jigsaw Detective when I get alzheimers....

Yikes! Both of you are further along than I am that's for sure. I like jigsaw puzzles but don't often have the room or the space for them here in my apartment and so I thought that I would enjoy when pogo brought out a jigsaw game. I am ashamed to admit that I don't think and I have received even one game award badge in jigsaw detective. I have finished several other games though and at the moment I'm busy working on black jack Carnival and it's taking forever… Until next time happy Mylotting!

I have no idea what you're talking about, jigsaws online. I do real jigsaws (lol), and I recently picked up two boxes on themes, each containing 5x500, 3x750, and 2x1000 piece puzzles. I've completed two, and they are very good quality puzzles, and the most amazing thing about them is that each box of 10 puzzles cost A$24, about US$17. When you consider that lesser quality single puzzles often cost only a fraction less than that, I am happy as a pig in sh*t. They should keep me going till I hit 66. Lash

You should! They've added a lot of new games. Some of them are pretty addictive...lol. I'm catdla3 there, look me up if you want to. By the way, how did you make out with your car repairs? Is it all fixed already?

If the puzzles work better now, you'll probably like jigsaw treasure hunter better. There's 1,000 puzzles there, and only about 100 at jigsaw detective.
