I am offline for almost 7 days

it was really annoying i have encounter network problems. My connection was cut of because of my payment not received by the system. I used to smartmoney to pay my bills since i started using smartbro more than 2 years ago. Smartmoney experience glitches on their system, my payments wasn't reached to the system of smartbro. I am stuck by their service. Imagine you need to wait 7 days before my connection sorted out. They said that it's their SOP to sort problems on their system within 7days.

Hello julyteen hope you just keep cool on your problem. Just cool it man. First, do you have any choice that could provide more that smartbro than do to you? If there is then go ahead take it. If there's none, then, there's nothing we can do OR close your account with smartbro. Like us here, everybody are complaining against smartbro but they never transfer to the other rival network provider because it has more problem ( the worst one).. If I were you, just make a constant follow up I guess the seven days they were given to you fix their system would be just the longer one..Cheer up bro, cheer up because your blood pressure will go up and you can't go up to the mountain anymore....

i don't have any options to shift another company because Philcom DSL here also has a bad feedbacks same of the Smartbro.

yes you are right dude but sometimes you'll patience will be tested because of their delayed service. If there is another option better not to connect them but we are unlucky because no other company serve here better than Smartbro. Maybe later another company will come in.

That is really annoying. We've had a problem with Smartbro several months ago but not regarding payment. We cannot connect to the internet for some reason. My sister-in-law called them and they did some troubleshooting, then my brother called and asked to do the same thing. I called after couple of days and was asked to do the same troubleshooting. We know that it is not our computer that is causing the problem since I'm a technical support for computers myself. The call ended but issue was still there and they told us that their engineer will give us a call. No calls. My sister-in-law followed it up and she was being asked to troubleshoot again, she got mad and that's the only time the agent decided to sent us a technician at our house. The technician went and we found out that the problem is because they have updated their towers at our location and it is necessary for the antenna to be replaced. What an inconvenience to take do long before they've sent their support. I'm glad I'm using dsl.

Oh no! Well I guess it is still better than nothing at all ... LOL ... Don't worry, I think sometime soon other provider will find out about that and they will offer their services on your community. I think your current provider will do just about anything to keep their customers at that time =)

your lucky because you have an options to choose another internet company but in our place they are the only company serve the whole community so we don't have choices except to accept the really that we can't assume their good service. LOL

Well I agree its very frustrating to a person where the internet is his main source of income or work. Internet is very important nowadays and every should always maintain to have a good service to their subscribers.

I used internet not only for my online business but mostly on my offline business such as downloading songs, surfing and many other. It's really annoying if we don't have connection in a whole week.

Welcome back. If I were you, I gonna switch to other DSL providers out there. Switch to PLDT DSL after your contract with smartbro expires. You'll have a landline and a DSL at one payment.. It's a better offer where you can only have an internet connection with smartbro, there's no landline and you'll pay the same at PLDT while getting 2 offers..

your suggestion is really good but i can't consider it now because we have no options here. Only Smartbro available in our place. Hope DSL will come but PLDT DSL is partly own by Smart Communication. LOL

I know it must be tough for you not being able to use the internet for 7 days. I go online almost everyday. I feel something wrong one day not surfing the net. Internet has become more and more important in our life. I think 7 days is too long to sort out the connecting problem. do they compensate anything about this 7 days of disconnection? it's not that you didn't pay after all.

that's how it is with smartbro. we used to have them also as our isp provider years ago. according to them, for days that the service is still off after having been duly notified, there is an equivalent amount to each day to be deducted from the bill. it never happened. then, it was also said that after notification of service interruption, they will immediately come to the rescue, well they do not. well, that is life here in the philippines. service providers give nicely packaged deals which they do not follow to the letter. from our end, since we are always updated with our payments, we are expecting them to do their share. thus, the dismay will also always come from our end.

Hello julyteen! I am sorry to hear about that. I have been using smartbro too but we started out last night. I hope it won't happen to us because i don't want to be away here for 7 days. OMG! for 7 days? I can't take it. I am glad that it's ok now and that you were able to pay it. By the way, how many months you missed to pay your bills?

yeah it really a bad week for me. Valentine's day i don't have internet connection. My gf get mad of me. Her birthday also falls on that day. Smartbro service sucks!

Welcome back julyteen. Yikes, 1 week is a long wait. I experienced that too one time. It was REALLY annoying. Boredom kills me coz my computer is my only best friend here in our house. What I did was watch animes and play offline computer games only. No net surfing and online games. My computer is one of my basic needs now in order to survive. Rofl! Anyways, glad your back. padan muka ko....sape suruh tak bayar,,memang patut pun ko punye internet kene potong,,huhuhu wew kejam nye aku,,,,,tapi tak ape aku ade idea,,,koi carik keja sebulan ko dapat gaji ko bayar,,hmm kalo ko malas ko pergi cc je lah huhuhu,,,,tu kalau ko bnyak duit,,,mcm aku nie tak bnyak duit boleh bayar gak huhuhu,,,,,pandai2 lah ko,,sape suruh tak bayar..pastu kecewa tak dapat online tu lah siapae suruh tak bayar.

That is really annoying, isp always disconnect it very fast but it will take them within 2 working days earliest to reconnect line from disconnection , don't you all agree? my connection was down for a week due to some ISP network failure , and i was living in hell trying to do something to past my time. So how did you spend your 7 days without internet connection?

i spent my whole time watching movies and late at night i went to internet cafe but if the weather is not good prepare to stay home and sleep. it was by bad experience with regards to my internet connection.

hello julyteen, Seven days is a long waiting. That is really a bad service. And then You will be charged of the same amount next month. They should deduct the seven days from your billing next month. better check it. at least you wont be paying for those days you weren't able to use the internet. good luck

Then I hope they will not bill you for those seven days that you can not use their service. That's a technical error so you should not be penalized for it. To avoid encountering the same problem in the future, just pay earlier, a week or so before the deadline. Anyway, it's good that you are now back.
