The sweetest surprise!

A friend of mine has been playing around with my iphone lately. She is trying to decide if she wants one herself. Also, she is much more techno savy than me so she is learning how to do things and then teaching me.
She left me the sweetest surprise. Everytime I get a text message the ringtone to notify me is my son's voice saying "I love you, Mommy". MEELllttt 
. I don't actually get many text messages, so periodically she sends me a text that says... 'ahh, I love you too'. 
I just love thoughtful friends.
Has a friend done anything thoughtful for you lately? Did it make your day? Tell us about it.
Also,
My favorite myLotter who has been missing in action for sometime now, dropped in on one of my discussions yesterday because I stated I was feeling blue. Perked me right up to here from her again. Very thoughtful of her!!!!

Hi makingpots! That is so sweet of your friend! It is really a blessing to have friends that are thoughtful and caring. I am glad that you have them around. I do feel blessed with friends too and they usually text me every now and then just to say that they care. Just this morning, I have already a few messages from them. It always touches my heart whenever they do that.

Oh pots, how sweet. I gotta get me an iphone now!.........no wait, first I gotta get me a little kid who loves me and a sweet friend who knows how to work an iphone! LOL
As for the last friend who made my day..............well YOU of course! Made me think about when my own sons were small and still sweet............love those memories!

Aw, sparks, I love that... I'm not sure I've made anyone's day in a while. The memories are great aren't they. I try to write down as much as I can to keep them more vivid.

Awww, that is so cute and sweet of her!! I would love that with my granddaughter who yells each time she sees me (she is 20 months old), "HI NANA!!!"

wow, that was so sweet. i have been selecting my elective courses recently. a new course would come out sometimes when i am not in the dorm. some of my friends would inform me and help me do the selecting. actually i think it's really sweet too. :)

That is nice. My husband does little things for me all the time. This morning he went to the farmer's market next door to get some fresh produce and meat for us to eat this week (he goes every saturday morning). He picked up a piece of baklava for me from the Greek stand. The guy at the Greek stand knows him, and knows what he wants every week. I thought it was the nicest thing in the world. Then he brought me a cup of coffee in my favourite red cup.

Oh, that is very sweet. Yesterday I downloaded a software called Fring and it works for mobile phone. My friend told me his SIP account so that we can call each other freely anytime:) I think this is a surprise for me.

I try to find one thing a day, like taking a neighbor the paper, to teach my son thoughtfulness. He is so cute the way he'll ask me, "Was that thoughtful, mommy?" It is still a hard concept for a 4 year old, but we work on it.

Yes, on several occasions friends have made my day and it was sweet of them but that doesn't compare to what your friend did. That is the sweetest thing a friend can do for a friend. You are so lucky to have such friend. Have a nice day!

My friend, who's also my neighbor was here in our house yesterday and when my daughter came back from school, she told us that she would have to pass a project the next day. My friend had helped my daughter in making the project, so she stayed here doing the project. I thought it was very nice and sweet of her to do that with my daughter.

I spent yesterday with a very good friend...and she always does something nice when she is around....Sat when we scrapped she ordered pizza for us so I wouldn't have to stop to make us lunch.....yesterday she had a doctors appointment 200 miles from here so I rode along...and she was so sweet in stopping at some stamping stores where I wanted to stop....even though she was anxious to get home! I love what your friend did! That was super!
