Fighting shy of the problems or adversities is not the solution. The solution arrives at when you face them and try to see the roots of them. Many are of the opinion that problems of some kinds have no solutions. There is no such material problem that has no solution. But to have the insight and a powerful confidence in the mind is necessary to wrestle against he odds. This is something like you being chased by a herd of monkey. The more you are afraid and run away from them the more they get embolden and once you stop and start chasing them they would start on their feet instead. Do you agree? Rajib. 25.03.09

I do agree. Running away just allows time for more problems to arise among the ones you already have. Best to face problems head on and get them over with versus putting them off.

Any problem you face must be dealt with. I've found that when a problem is ignored, it gets complicated. If I can't think of any solutions, I'll usually stop thinking about it for a while. I'll try to clear my mind, by exercising, or taking a walk on the beach, anything that doesn't require thinking. I've found that once I can get my mind clear, I am able to think clearly and find better solutions to problems I might have otherwise handled in a different manner.

Yes that is right any problem ignored gets complicated hence it is better that we uproot the problem right in the beginning. I admire your way.

There is hardly a problem which does not find its solution through the action of somebody else. In sickness it might be the finding of the right doctor, in work the meeting of the right employer, in personal affairs the help of the right man or woman. and it is when you have faith in your fellow men or women, when you start living at your best, that God is able to help you by working through someone else. we can never run away from problems but there are certainly ways to deal with them.

In the great epic poem "The Mahabharata" Lord Krishna suggested Arjuna that there is no problem which does not have a solution. The problem is that people are blind ans therefore do not see the root of the problems. Likewise in our day to day life too we have problems but we need some wit to out mode it.

Yes, we need to deal with problems, after all life is learning experience and how are we to learn if we are not challenged? As a Zen practitioner and therapist, I encourage all my clients to engage with life as it is. If we can do this, then we can transcend problems and become a little stronger with each problem we transcend. - Derek

Correct to engage with life is another form of solution and apart from them there are certain ways to deal with them but running away from them is the real cowardly act.

in my opinion problems is a challenging because without it you do nothing so if we have problems we are busy to do things to solve the problem and its a great way to think forward that like saying" i can do this" so head up and move on

Yes you are right, there is no such problem that has no solution. Everything will be settled if not in a fashionably manner. Mostly we deal problems with fear or some take it with anger and the issue will not be resolved if taken in a heated argument. Most problems can be settled immediately if handled well and if there is no pride and ego to block the way of reconciliation. But if problems aren't resolved within a day, i think it needs time for both parties to cool down first and settle the matter for the next day. We learn from our mistakes and problems open up new opportunities for us to learn and apply our understanding better to be called mature enough. Happy Mylotting!

Yes, as soon as a problem pops up we get scared and forget to see the root. If we are patient enough surely we would find a solution to the problem. The basic thing is that most of us run away from the problem.

I agree. Focus on something long enough and it becomes your reality, therefore attracting more of what you believe in. I deal with my problems head on. When I am getting tired, I change the scenery, go for a walk, make dinner etc. Taking a break, to clear the head, I find is essential. I think that what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger.

The monkeys are a very good example of how we should handle our problems. If we run from them they will only get worse. It's hard to face them sometimes but that is the only way we will solve them. Problems tend to grow if not solved--like the monkeys, picking up other monkeys along the way!

Exactly. Problems tend to grow like a hill if not attended in time and with tact. They are there to disturb you and if you stoop you are gone. So face it and see its real face.

I totally understand your point. I have been fighting with my life for last 3 years and I was shy of them every time but later I realized that there is no point running away from them, I need to find a solutino and that can only be done by facing it!

I think that the fear of a problem makes the problem seem bigger. It makes us feel small and weak to fight against it. Also, sometimes we overreact when we encounter a problem and we end up treating a very simple problem in a very complicated manner - if only we'd interpret things more simply then we'd be able to face our problems head on :) We need not be afraid because there's always a solution - we just have to be strong and courageous to accept that some solutions are neither pretty nor easy :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

The one thing to remember when faced with what appears to be an unsurmountable problem is that it is here for a reason and that there is a solution, it may not be one that we like but there is an answer and that is certain. The trick is to stay with the problem long enough to find the strength to face it as it is instinctive to want to run away from it. When in the midst of resolving a problem we sometimes may have to face parts of ourselves that are difficult to accept but that is where the lesson usually is. Listing pros and cons and praying are two ways I use when I'm looking for an answer. Sometimes magic happens when I surrender whatever is worrying me to the Universe.

Yes, there is a solution. Even Lord Krishna had said that one should not think that there is no solution to the problems we face but there is . the only thing lacking in us is that we have not the knack to find the root.

Hello my friend Rajib Ji, You are absolutely right. Let me put it in different way. I understand logically three types of people, fisrtly, due to problems, they never start a job, secondally, starting and leaving mid-way, lastly, starting and completing. But I am little different, I know about problems, and I crush and march ahead and reach my final goal. This has been inducted in me from my hubby, who is a retired soldier. He always inspires me. I never thought, that I would know about computer. So there is nothing impossible. If there is a will, there is way. May God bless you and have a great time.

You're right, it isn't good to hide away from your problems. It's always better to face them and try to find a solution. However, that is always easier said than done. Sometimes, when we're faced with problems, we can't help but to want to just keep it locked away.

This world we live in has so many challenges and problems that can affect us. It may be simple or complex, easy to solve or hard to the bones and may be too short or too long to handle. I have experiences all sorts of problems in my whole life and I'm happy I was able to surpass them all with flying colors. The trick to handle problems is to face them head on, try to look for solutions to them as fast as possible because the longer you solve a problem the more complex it gets. The world has lots of solutions to certain problems and we are free to pick which suites us. Dont let the problem control your mind, be realistic as much as possible so you can look for solutions. Open up your mind for good suggestions from friends and relatives, remember no man is an island, if you have trouble solving it on your own, have time to as assistance. Don't forget ask help from God, for he can give you the answer you are looking for. Prayers move mountains as they say.

I pray a lot if I have big problems. Because I know I can not make it if I rely on my own capacity to solve it. It is still in prayer that all problems find its solutions.

I so agree with what you are saying here. I usually get stressed. My stress level can't to high or I get real sick. For this reason I have had to initiate certain things that help me to not get so bad. Thinking as realisically as prossible usually helps. Meditating on a sulution helps as well. And staying out of postoffices helps me too. Haha.

The only way to solve a problem is to confront it. Running away or avoiding the problem in some cases just makes it worse. In the end you have a bigger problem then you started with. People would be more likely to confront their problems if instead of dwelling on the bad sides of the problem, that they would concentrate on the relief they will feel once the problem is solved. Did that make sense.? I fear my english was bad!!!!!...boo for me!!! Sometimes there are no solutions to the problem and you may have to agree to disagree but still it is talked over and you will feel better. Why is there a problem??????....Did you not like my answer?????,,,,,If its a problem, make sure you confront me with it!!

Rajib- I agree, you can't run from a problem or hide from it. Sure, you can ignore it for a time but eventually it will rear it's head again and force you to deal with it. I like the work of Eckhart Tolle and I found his advise of asking yourself "Can I be the space for this" very helpful when problems arise. It keeps my ego from freaking out and keeps me in the moment, and I don't run from the problem. Now, if I find that a problem needs some planning, I'll write out the pros, cons, and possible solutions. There is always a solution, it just may be one we don't quite like for whatever our ego makes up. Such as having a problem with blood sugar and having to watch one's diet. Namaste- Anora

Yes, your right when you said there's no such material problem or maybe not just material but all problems i guess that has no solution..and if their is such problem without a solution, that's not a problem,.agree with me on that??there is one thing, you have to face your problem with courage and confidence. sometimes it is our problems that makes us more stronger and firm in our life..that's how i dealt with my problems..i can do all things through Christ who strengthens me..God bless us all.
