A funny thing happened on the way to myLot!

I have been an active member of this community for some time now and accumulated a lot of friends. I don't really have referrals except for one that I am not sure is going to come through due to a glitch.
If that is what you would call it. There is another member that just joined recently as a referral for me and when they started a post it showed up under my user name, Bamakelly. I was wondering if I might have done something wrong when I made the request or was it a myLot error? Any body have this happen?

I met your referral friend yesterday! Apparently you'd been on her computer and hadn't logged out so it appeared she was you and I thought wow, I didn't know Bama was into dog rescue--cool! 
I have two referrals but neither of them are active, unfortunately. But I have a lot of "friends" that keep me busy!

So maybe that's what happened! I didn't think of that. I was on her computer recently. That is kind of funny. I just hope that everything works itself out. I am happy that you responded to my post this morning.
I was up pretty early this morning due to heavy storms in the middle of the night.
I logged onto myLot early this morning to find that I am into dog rescue!lol
My friend was also thinking it was quite strange how my name showed up along with her discussion.
Don't get me wrong though. I do care about animals and I think it is a very respectable thing to rescue animals. That is what makes animal lovers so special.
I just don't have the were withal to actually be able to harbor any abandoned dogs and the like. If I could then I probably would.

I might be a rescuer/foster home after my own dogs cross over. I won't get any more permanent pets because I don't want to die before them and abandon them, it's now fair to them. But I could happily be a temporary friend for them!
We started having rain yesterday, it's from the Pacific storm out west. Nothing big, no thunder or lightening, just a fairly light and steady sprinkling. I was kind of looking forward to some rumbling and a light show but I'll have to wait for the warmer weather!

you should contact mylot and tell them about both situations, they should be able to correct to you.
Only once a person didn't appear as my referral and he was and mylot fixed it.

It must be a glitch! I had one referral which has now turned to be an inactive one now but I can see his discussion in only his page. I can't get that discussion under my name!
How are you sure that the discussion was started by your referral because it is being shown under you!

have you contacted the admin about this? well, it would be an added earning for you. i wish the same glitch would happen in my earnings with no tell tale signs like yours. but i hope my earnings would increase instead of the other way around. :)

Thanks for the reply. I haven't contacted the administration about this however they were contacted by my friend. I am thinking they might do something to handle the problem. I am not sure.
Just one of those things that happened. Well, just an experience to be learned from.
I just don't want to take the earnings for a discussion that another good person started. They just started here at myLot.
