I was almost 24 when the show started. No kids, no hubby. Now i have both. I feel I have grown up with the show. How do you feel? I have watched and now it will be gone, only seen in re-runs! Good bye ER and thank you....

Yes I did watch it. It was disappointing. I was hoping for a wonderful ending, but instead it was almost like any other show. They didn't tie up any loose ends or anything like that. They basically left it up to our imagination knowing that life in the ER will continue on as usual, only without us watching it.

I have not watch ER in years. I think I watched the first season and maybe some of the second season, but I have not watched it since then. I will not be watching it tonight.

I liked Er but haven't watched it on forever since George Clooney has been off of it. So I have missed a great deal. I won't be catching the ending because hubby has control of the remote and it just isn't his thing..Another great show is gone now..Charmed now ER. I wonder how many more of the good ones will be going before long?

My ex-husband and I use to watch ER all the time and we really enjoyed it. But I think as the main characters started to leave (it seemed like a revolving door) we seemed to lose interest. I put it on last night and I watched some of it and then I had to go get a few things done and I thought oh well I'll be back in time for the end to see everyone reunited. Well I came back only to find that I missed I guess the Grand Opening of John Carter's new medical building. Now I did see a few characters but I never did see Mark Greene. Did he come back?? Also did George Clooney come back cause I heard he was going to. Anyways I have to say I was disappointed. I just assumed at the end would be when they were all back together.

You really DID grow up watching the show, didn't you? I watched the finale and I cried like a baby, I must admit it. I've heard and read of quite a few people who were disappointed in the show and I was in a way myself. I mean, I enjoyed the show as I watched it, as I said I cried a few times including at the end, but then when it was over I felt a kind of letdown. Of course, that's happened with me after watching other series finales so maybe it's normal for me. What I DID really love about the show was how they went back to the original theme song and how they ended it the way it had begun. It was neat to see some of the old cast members come back as it has been throughout much of this last season. I'd have liked to have see them ALL there together one last time but that was probably impossible for the producers to pull off. No matter what, ER was one of the best dramas in TV history and I'd say possibly THE best medical show - although I know that's something that can be debated about - and it's going to be missed. The writers through the years have been amazing as have been the actors. The characters were REAL to me and I now feel like I'm not going to be seeing some of my best friends anymore. Annie

I wasn't such a fan of the show. I guess because I tend to miss a lot of episodes and don't really know what's going on. I think there will be ER reruns for a long time, however. As I recall, reruns of the Charmed series are still going strong.
