Okay I don't see anyone talking about this but I am outraged. "Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities." Where on earth is this coming from? I guess since my husband is military he's a target for these so called rightwing extremist recruiters. Who the heck wrote this thing??? When they open with... "The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence..." No specific information that their are plans for acts of violence. Well gee we can't profile muslims on a student visa but we will be profiling our U.S. Veterans because American Rightwing Extremist just might be trying to recruit them for some unknown act of violence? I won't even go down the road of the other things in this ridiculous analysis. Here is the whole document... Liberalism can't stand anyone or anything that doesn't goose step to their agenda. They will villainize anyone and anything... they don't care. The military vote has traditionally gone to the Republicans, therefore the military vote must be marginalized and demonized.

lol... I sent this to my husband who's deployed overseas right now. He asked me what kind of benefits and pension plan are the rightwing extremists offering! He says the rate Obama's going he may not have those for long in the military and may be looking for new options. I believe it was 4 to 1 in the election McCain getting far more of the military vote. Of course all the guys overseas who knows how many didn't get counted.

We shouldn't be profiling anyone to be honest. However, this doesn't really surprise me. I agree with Spall, they are just looking for anything and everything right now. It's good that you're aware of it, and are keeping track of what the government is doing. Namaste-Anora

That is just so much bs...talk about grasping at straws. I guess every veteran who put his life on the line for this country is a potential Timothy McVeigh now? What a load of cr@p. If anything, I would think that a former member of our military would be *less* likely to be recruited by extremists of any kind.
