Did you/he get down on your or his knees to propose?

If you are a married or engaged man did you propose on one knee?
If you are a married or engaged woman did your spouse or fiancee propose on one knee?
If you are not engaged or married and you are a man when the time comes will you get down on one knee to propose?
If your are a woman and are not engaged or married would you be disappointed if your future spouse did not get on one knee when they proposed?

My first husband and I were making out in his car and he didn't even have a ring. Might be one of the reasons why that marriage only lasted for 18 months....poor planning from start to finish.

Yes, my husband got down on one knee when he proposed to me. He also picked a special date so that we would never forget it...03/03/03. He had already picked out the ring and it actually fit because he had *borrowed* a ring I sometimes wore to size the engagement ring with. He did a wonderful job selecting the ring but, even if it was the ugliest ring in the world, it would still be the most beautiful to me.

My husband proposed on one knee. He had me go on a scavenger hunt throughout our house. I thought he was crazy! He would give me little clues and I was running around trying to figure out the clues. Eventually, his clues led me to him! He had the engagement ring secured around his thigh. When I found it, he got on one knee, sang our song to me, and then asked me to marry him. It was so sweet and romantic! I got down on my knees, kissed him and yelled "YES!!!" It was wonderful!

Yes, my husband got down on his knees when he proposed to me on the engagement day. It was a wonderful event and I will never forget it. I was so happy and didn't no what to say...the words didn't come out....but somehow I said...'Yes, I will marry you'..Thanks for creating this nice discussion. It made me think about that wonderful event.

I'm really not sure if my fiancee officially got on his knee or not. lol He was actually sitting on the floor when he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. That moment is all a blur, so what exactly he did, I don't remember! lol I know I laughed/cried and almost forgot to tell him YES! lol Even though he knew what my answer was going to be.
