sometimes humans tend to question God's existence due to problems coming their way. they felt that they are really alone and God is not helping them and think that God don't really exists. some just don't believe in God's existence. me i never had a doubt on God's existence, even if i have problems, feeling lonely or whatsoever, because my belief on God's existence is the only thing that keeps me going and gives me more strength! and why should we doubt His existence? when everything we see is His creation...Us are the living proof of His existence. This is my opinion and belief, how about you? thanks! have a nice day!

I do not think I have ever questioned God's existence, as i adamently believe in Him and His word and His book. I feel like there is proof all around us that God exists, and I have no reason to doubt Him. On occasion I have probably questioned His plan for me and tried to understand why He chooses this path for me, but I then realize that He knows what He is doing, and that in the end He will get me where He wants me to be.

Me, I have strong reservation about the existence of the supernatural entity that you are describing. The only thing that you are saying is that a god exists because you need it to exist. We are not proof of the existence of a god or gods, we are proof that the natural process of evolution is occurring on this planet.

ckyera acceptance of the reality of evolution and a belief in a god can exist simultaneously. Believing in a god does not require you to blind yourself to the fact that evolution is occurring all around you and has since the first life arose on this planet. Evolution is not something that requires belief, only awareness of the wonders of the natural world. Lochness7806 what I stated above applies to what you have posted also. Evolution and belief in a god are not an either, or choice. If your god requires you to be blind to the realities of the natural world the you are worshiping the wrong god. Do not make the mistake of confusing Darwin's theory of natural selection with the process of evolution. Darwin was proposing a mechanism that he saw as a solution as to how evolution occurred, not stating the process of evolution as a new idea. Your argument about the existence of a god has one significant hole. Your worship of your perception of what god is does not offer your a sure place in the heaven. What if your are wrong as to the nature of god? What if the Druids are right and god is a spirit dwelling in the heart of an ancient oak tree. What if that god is quite put out with you when you die because you did not make the proper sacrifices and consigns you to the hell you so gleefully imagine as the final destination of the poor deluded people who do not chose to share your beliefs.

Islander7, I am simply on here trying to state my views and opinions, just because you do not believe in Heaven or Hell, or do not see them as a reality, doesn't give you justification to tell me I am not a "thinking person" and therefore question my intelligence. Just because you do not have a relationship with God does not make your arguments valid. I truly believe in what I am saying, and thats really all that matters. you do not have to agree with me in order for me to feel justified, And if i choose to follow the book that was written by my God, and believe in Heaven and Hell, thats up to me, and who are you to say otherwise?

I have absolutely no doubt of God's existence. He doesn't, end of story. I've yet to see anything slightly convincing to suggest otherwise.

i was raised by my mom to be a good catholic, we go to church, pray before and after every meal, pray for guidance and blessings. i am not a church goer but i am a believer, but what happened lately to me. it confused me if God do exists? you hold your own belief and i hold my own belief, it doesn't matter anyways. but can somebody blame me for believing so? if life for me had been so tragic and traumatic. life had been unfair and cruel indeed for me. and i don't think i am not alone in this world who believe in it.

So true! To some all the evidence that's around us in abundance in not enough to convince them that we were created and that we have a Creator. They want God to personally manifest Himself to them. Or the evil in the world makes it hard for them to understand that we have a Creator who cares for us. Myself, I see plenty of evidence in the fact that were created. I also appreciate that the wickedness in temporary and will eventually end with a happy outcome for those that take the time to understand what is going on.

I do not believe in god and I have done so for as long as i remember. It was partially because I always used to relay on my strength and effort to get things done my way and partly because I am a strong supporter of the theory of evolution. I am a science student and everything explained by it makes more sense to me. I read once in a book that "Humankind created god partly because they needed to put the blame on somebody and partly because they wanted to believe that there is someone watching over them and it will be easier to face the problems in life knowing that that person is there". I know there are people who think that this is plain wrong but it suits my belief and opinion about god. I am glad you brought this up. It is really interesting to see different people's views on this matter. Have a good day!!

Proof of God's existence is all around us. Some people say evolution or scientific, but have you ever been in a plane and see the clouds sitting in the air. How can they not fall? Have you ever been on a cruise. Seeing all the water in the ocean. How do the water know how to stop without coming on land? The evidence is everywhere, but to know for sure that there is a God, is to develop a relationship with Him. Read His Word (The Bible). There's the Proof. Being in the presence of God is an awesome experience. There's so much peace. He will be your comforter, your provider, anything you need Him to be. Trust me, He exists. I couldn't live without Him. He's my everything. I couldn't breathe, talk, walk, or anything without Him. Please if you don't know Him for yourself, please get to know Him. Life is soooooo much better with Him in it.

I never had a doubt in God's existence. I always feel His presence wherever, whenever.. I guess it's in human instinct, He made, for us to realize that He is just there..

People need scientific reasons nowadays... Read this post http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2016880.aspx?p=1#2_19446902 And now, about the existence of God. I don't see any god currently in this world presently. The god are the ones who existed in their life time and showed people and went away to rest forever. Lord Buddha, Lord Jesus are the examples. Look at the meaning of enlightenment. They have ended their cycle of life already and now they are not here anymore. But their teachings, they have shown the way to enlightenment, the state of being god. What we have to do is follow the path of truth. The most necessary thing is to understand this world. Doing good is very important and we must not do bad things. Well literally you and I every one understand this statement, but have you realized it. I guess NO. Not me either. The realization of this, what is the truth, what is the existence is the state of being god. Our mind if full or various self wishes and desires. We cannot sacrifice a small cents of money for the helpless people and how can we be god. We have to realize what the truth is and have the motive to help all the creatures in this world. And meditation helps to attain this. This is a simple concept. Do you know are breathing when you are typing here in mylot. Certainly no. And no start concentrating on your breathing, then you know you are breathing. And still you don't know what actually is happening inside your body. And for this sake, we need to concentrate. There are various methods of concentrating. And scanning the body is one of the best meditation to move towards the knowing of the truth. You will realize that our body is a wave, a form of energy. Then ultimately the deeper thing is that our mind is the source of reflection of the energy. And that's why if we reflect the feeling of love, we can control it to spread around us and do good for every other creatures. This is the state of being God. But being god needs lot of sacrifice in our life. And still it is naturally possible... I hope you are clear with this. I am still ready to answer more if you are curious to know more things. I can always share what I know... Happy mylotting...

I was raised christian but everything about christianity and the bible simply does not add up. At this point I doubted whether God existed at all. But I am an open person. I want to know the truth. I am not one who thinks it's right to bend the truth to my will. I started a search for God with an open mind and a need to discover the real truth no matter what it was. God does exist. He is very very smart! He does not think like me.Like most people, I have narrow vision but I work on that everyday. God puts knowledge all around us. It is up to us to discover it. Perhaps a test of intelligence. If knowledge was just given us, we would not learn wisdom. Start your own search for God. Be open for no religion understands God. God is so much more than you can find in any one book especially one written by man. Search and discover God on your own. Perhaps, that is the only way. God has not created Hell for anyone. He has a system in place that is really fair. Look around you. Can you see? Think out of your box because God has the sum of all knowledge. He is very smart. That is why so few really understand. All the physics of this world add up. You have to know the people factor does as well. REALLY LOOK!

Well I'm just attracted by the manner of the question 'do you EVER had...' since maybe I've been living in very secular societies and GOD for me is a totally social constructed concept. So what I believe it the ultimate existence of something supernaturual that creates the universe, but not HE that existence in any religions.
