I wonder what you think is the dumbest show on tv? for me it would have to be HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER! i never thought it was all that in the first place. here it is years later and still its a stupid plot. cause this guys explaining to his kids all this time how he met her? i watched it at first because of Neil Patrick Harris which i've had a crush on forever. then last year i found out hes gay now i have nothing against gay. my favorite show used to be Will and Grace. i still watch reruns of it. but its kind of hard watching this guy chase women and play the chavaunist while in back of your mind you know he doesnt even like them in that way. so, i say this is the dumbest show(and a lot are)but this is the worst on tv!! so why is it still on?

I saw previews for Wipe Out and thought that would be good, but then I watched about 5 seconds of it before I had to change the channel... ugh!! I also hated having to sit through Surviving Suburbia between Dancing with the Stars and Castle. I'd usually pick that time to go take my evening shower.

i do believe in ghosts and used to watch it but you can only go so far with that plot without being really repetitive. it got a little to same ol' same ol', you know.

I guess I'll agree with you on that show, but I never really got into it much. The best-looking guy on tv, in MY opinion, is Simon Baker on the Mentalist...which is also a pretty good show. He is unbelievably adorable!!! Anyway, to answer your question, I believe The Kardashions is a dumb show...but then again, I hate all reality shows. I think there are less and less good tv writers, so they have to put on shows with no scripts and people doing real stupid things. Take care!

You've GOT to watch the Mentalist!! That smile is unbelievable, and the greatest hair...He used to be on a show called Guardian, while took place in Pittsburgh, (where I live), but it was a very depressing, unhappy, bummer of a show. Glad it's gone..Enjoy!!

Yes, I know. I've thought a guy on TV was cute, but then I find out he's gay. Kind of ruins the crush when I know he isn't into my gender at all! Dumbest show on TV today...I'm going to go with The Secret Life of the American Teenager. It's on ABC Family, and I think for all they said about making it apply to real life, it isn't. There are not many parallels from that show to real life except the fact that teenage girls do get pregnant. The show is just insanely unreal and annoying. Kind of dumb in my opinion.

I see actors as acting, I don't put into the role what they are in real life. I guess some people can't do that, but after I figured out that the actor and the role were two different things, I've pretty much been able to do that. Now, this show isn't the kind of show I would watch anyway, so I really can't comment on it, but just to point out that the role should be removed from what the person really feels. For example, I love Capt Jack on Torchwood, and I know John Barrowman is gay, but Jack isn't, now, he isn't fussy, but he's not excuslive.

i guess it was just that i look at some men in a certain way, then when i find out they are totally different its just hard for me to believe in their show as straight. i know it dont make sense guess im just cookey i mean i love the guy that plays will in will and grace. i looked at him always tho as like he could be a best friend. you know. the only reason i once watched how i met your mother at first was because of neil patrick harris, so guess thats the problem

I think that as a teen if I had found out that Paul McCartney or David McCallum were gay, I might've been disillusioned, but these day, not any more. I either love the actor as they are and the role they play - if I like it. Or I love the roll and maybe I'll try to find out about the actor. For example, finding out that the gal who plays Abby on NCIS is actually TRAINED as a forensic person, only made her better at her role. Knowing that David McCallum actually attended autopsies, disgusting as it is, makes me know he's giving his best to the role as Ducky. Heck, back in the 1996, David McCallum credited doing the Man From UNCLE for teaching him how to roll off the hoods of cars, saving him for extensive injuries when he was part of a crowd that was hit by a cab. http://www.davidmccallumfansonline.com/taxiterror.htm

The dumbest show on TV is The Hills on mTV. I just hate that show with all the stuck up snobby rich kids doing what they want. MTV makes it look like a reality series but it actually is mostly scripted.

hmm..there's a LOT of dumb tv on right now..lemme see. i guess "tim & eric's great show, awesome job" on adult swim.i hate that thing. first,it's not a cartoon.adult swim was supposed to be cartoons,i thought. second,it's mind numbingly stupid. looks like one of those shows producers give relatives to shut 'em up.

i know. that show is just WRONG!! my grandson was staying with me back in '05 and he was 11yrs. i let him watch cartoons all he wanted. one night he said he couldnt sleep and i said(it was summer) watch cartoons. he said he couldnt because they have a show on there he wasnt allowed to watch come to find out it was a adult cartoon. how stupid is that. why does this stay on tv? other good things are taken off.

It's been on for years? I just heard of it a few months ago and couldn't imagine anything more boring. So I've never watched it. Mr. Harris is a really good actor. I remember him in Doogie Howser, he was such a cute little kid. I was surprised when I found out he was gay but the fact that he can play a role like that is a tribute to his talent.

oh yes. i still love him. i just cant stand the farce i guess. its to bad they cant get him into a more believable part. hes a great actor. i even seen him play a killer once which was really a tough one for someone that always seemed so sweet and nice. maybe its the show that just throws me off. i think he could do better.

Hi bunnybon7 - I think I may have watched part of How I met your Mother once but it really didn't interest me either. I just didn't find it all that funny. What are your favorite shows? My family & I really like "Chuck". It has everything I like... comedy & action, all in one! The only thing I hate about the summer is the shows go off the air and only have re-runs. Now, I do not watch all that much TV nowadays anyway because there isn't that much on anymore that I actually like. My husband & I watched a few shows this past season. Mainly, "Chuck", "Celebrity Apprentice", & "Hell's Kitchen". Jill

I used to watch "The Biggest Loser" but haven't for over a year. I liked it when it first started. Chuck is really good... you might want to check it out next season. Have you ever watched the new tv show called "Harper's Island"? My husband & I have been watching it. It definitely isn't the best program on tv but if you like scary shows you might like it. Right now, my husband is busy watching the Stanley Cup hockey playoff between the Pittsburgh Penguins & the Detroit Red Wings. I like to GO to hockey games but don't like watching it on tv.

All those sit coms are just so stupid. I have no respect for any of the stars on them either. About as far as I will go is Will and Grace. She is a favorite of mine but man that show is dumb. It is such a discredit to people with half a brain. It reminds me of when I was young and it was my step brothers turn to watch what he wanted on tv. His choice? The Three Stooges. That must be one of the most idiotic stupidities ever created! And even Lucy drives me up sometimes. I could go on and on. I am sure you get the jist of what I am saying.

Yes, I really do. I like Criminal Minds, NCIS, and The Mentalist. The more unique type cop shows catch my attention and interest. I am always interested in the inner workings of things.

Lol... there is a lot of competition out there for the dumbest show on TV. The Real Life with Paris Hilton was pretty dumb. The Real World also pretty dumb. The Next Top Model... and the list goes on and on. Even the shows that were once pretty good like Heroes and Lost are now well DUMB.

The dumbest show on TV is The Hills. Especially since Lauren will not be on it anymore. I just cant stand that Heidi girl and her stupid husband. Also all those love shows on VH1, like Rock of Love and that Flavor Flave show.

It is hard to pick which show is the dumbest. I do not like the reality shows and think they are dumb. I only saw How I Met Your Mother once and did not like it so you are probably right it is one of the dumbest show.

gosh I do not watch many shows anymore, so it is hard for me to decide which is actually the dumbest one. I think the getting married shows to people you don't even know is pretty dumb and I won't even look at them.

Why'dya do it Doogie? WHY??? lol. I haven't seen many episodes of "How I met your Mother" because it's not on TV here, but the ones I've seen were'nt overly engaging, no. I'll channel skip the SECOND I see the slightest hint of a soap opera. ANY soap opera! Even a brief glimpse has my stress levels start to peak. so I need to move on very quickly for fear of a panic attack!

Hi bunnybon7, I ahve never watched these TV shows so I can't really comment on them but i know how you feel about this gay actor, I used to be in love with Rock Hudson and when I found out about him being Gay I felt sad but then I still loved him, he was the most handsomest actor ever. Tamara

Hey bunny! I know what you're saying! I was so disappointed to find out that Neil Patrick Harris was gay too! He is so cute and plays such a matcho role only to find out that he isn't even into women! That is such a bummer! But, I stopped watching the show a long time ago for a different reason! I got sick of them dragging the plot on! How long can you drag on the "meeting your mother"? So, I haven't watched it in a long time anyway! And as for Will and Grace! Will is very much straight! He is married and has a child! So don't be disallusioned by that show! I loved that show and still would watch it, even the reruns!
