I come from China ,in China ,for poor people ,if you got a degree in university ,you will have more opportunity to become rich ,compared with thise who didn't have .Frankly speaking I think most of the people in college are smarter than those who haven't studied in the college .

No, when you say smart, that person when they out from college, they will get a great job and earn a lot, right? But that's not the case. My brother didn't go to college, and yet he earn more than me and at times amazed me with his knowledge and experiences. For me, college is vital, but that doesn't mean that that person is better than non-college people. People would still wanted to go to college so that they earn recognition and certification as now, that one of the question that people will ask. Do you have a degree or diploma? It's become a culture to all now.

I think college students become very educated in whatever field they are trying to learn. I do not think they are more clever than an average person though. I think all people are either clever or they aren't.

I've met many people without college educations, that are as smart, or smarter than those who go, just because you have the money and means to go ahead with further education, doesn't make you smarter.

There are a lot of things one learn in college that makes him more knowledgeable and smart. However, it's not fair to say that college graduates are automatically more clever than people who did not go to college. There are people who do self-study or learn by experience. On a personal note, i believe that one should as much as they can, have a formal education in whatever field they choose. Some people who are already earning money (without graduating) think it's not a necessity and a waste of good money. If you have a business (and you didnt graduate), don't you think you'd make more money by applying more efficient strategies which are learned from school? For employees, you'd be able to climb the career ladder faster if you have had formal education. I remember my professor saying, "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance."

No, I don't think so! Whether you smart or not can't measuered by whether you went to college. If you studied in university, you may learn more knowlege, but It doesn't make you smarter! As refer to many persons still want to go to college,it is decided by the personal persuit. What do you think of?
