I have fallen in love with ColdStone Creamery... it is by far my most favorite ice cream store. Is there a favorite ice cream store that you have or do you eat it at home or do you not care where it comes from... heck it's ICE CREAM!Thanks Zelo

I love iCream store. It is cafe and factory. It is located in Chicago, I am not sure if the same concept is also somewhere else. The ice Cream is mix based on your design while you are waiting... The best part, they are open till 11PM........

Hey dearie. I thought you were vegan. Was a little suprised to see you commenting on my ice cream posts. It is cool to have ice cream stores open 'til 11pm. I got 'caught' at 9:02pm at a coldstone... was not happy. Thanks Zelo

he local pharmacy has an old fashioned ice cream counter - I like going there for the hand dipped hard ice cream - $1 for a huge scoop and it is a good quality ice cream. they will give a half a scoop of one flavor and half of another if you request - my kids like to do that because they inevitably give more ice cream.

Wow $1/scoop that is a great deal. Takes me back to my childhood when I would go to the soda counter and order ice cream floats.... That is really cool there are still places like that around! Thanks Zelo

Well, the one I like that is the closest,is Baskin Robbins I don't like the Kaleidoscoopes we have in oursmall town so we have to drive a hour away for a Baskin Robbins.

Now driving an hour away is some dedication to some good ice cream there! Thanks Zelo

I have to agree with you there! I have fallen in love with Cold Stone also. My favorite used to be a place downtown, it's a little mom and pop place. But I hardly go there any more because it's such a hassle to get to. Cold Stone is pretty close, which can make it pretty dangerous! ps - thanks for posting something other than "What is your favorite ice cream flavor"

Yeap I have been here long enough to be answering the 'what color underwear do you have on' and the 'what is your favorite fruit' questions. I am glad there are others out there that think the same was as do I. Thanks Zelo

I am sure a long time back I did indeed ask that... actually it might have been a little more than that... like what is a flavor of ice cream that you like that others would not have tried or something. Cold Stone is one of those that has such incredible variations that its like fireworks going off in my mouth when I eat it. Thanks Zelo

I guess my favorite ice cream shop would have to be Baskin Robbins. But then again it's the only ice cream shop I know of as I've never been to any others. LOL However, they do have some pretty good ice cream, just the same! And their ice cream cakes are yummy as well! I don't really care where it comes from. As long as it's fresh it's all good!

You have too good a body to even THINK about eating ice cream I am sure. Baskin Robbins was a staple of the once a month to the ice cream shop in my childhood and the 31 flavors back then was just a bohemeth amount considering most places had the big three and that was it. Thanks Zelo

There's a wonderful ice cream parlour in Leicester Square in London which I love going to but the ice cream is so damn expensive because of where it is situated. I love coconut ice cream and it's very very very rare to get it! But they do serve it and it's delicious! I think the last time I went there was last year, because it really is expensive and I don't tend to go into London much. The shop bought one is just as good, although again coconut ice cream for some reason is very hard to find. Haagen Daz for me is the best make when it comes to ice cream!

Coconut ice cream is a little TOO sweet for me but I do like to use it instead of 'plain' vanilla when mixing it with fruit and berries. I will also sub yogurt when I really feel like going healthy. As for Haagen Daaz... I would take Ben & Jerry's over them any day of the week. Don't know if you have it out there but it is some really REALLY good ice cream. Thanks Zelo

In my town, it is Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Store. It is regional. I think there is a ColdStone Creamery about an hour or more from here, so I have never been. Braum's raises all their own cattle, produces all their own product. Strict quality control. The best tasting milk around as well.

I like Coldstone Creamery too, the ice cream there is really good, and I like that you can create your own ice cream. There is also a little privately owned place in our little down town area that I like. The ice cream is not quite as good, but the atmosphere is really neat, it has a very nice old fashioned feel.

Yeah the mixture of fruit and ice cream and whatnot... and not just toppings as toppings but as part of the ice cream is what I really like about it. Of course the little shops are also really cool. There was this one in my town that sold 'garbage' ice cream... snickers, 3 musketeers, m&ms, and God only knows what else was in there... whatever they had lying around... it was a pretty cool tasting ice cream. Thanks Zelo

I don't know if you can call Dip 'n Dots real ice cream but I did try it at a mall once and it had the most interesting way of making something freeze-dried taste so much like real ice cream. Thanks Zelo

I think it's fair to say DQ is to ice cream what McDonalds is to burgers. When you NEED ice cream there is usually a DQ around pretty close to satisfy that sweet tooth. Thanks Zelo
