Throughout the world there are various cell phone plans. The question is are you satisfied with it? Right now I am currently using Cricket Wireless which is known for everything to be unlimited at a low cost. Whether throughout the week, the nights and the weekends everything I have is unlimited whether I call another carrier that has Cricket or if they have a different carrier such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile or whatever it may be. I also added having unlimited text messaging worldwide since I do text a lot in the Philippines. Sometimes I wish my plan had unlimited calling worldwide then for sure I can say my cellphone battery would have ran out pretty quick. With all the full access of unlimited plan it's only about $50 a month for what I have. I've tried other plans before, but they were limited to how much minutes I can use and it was only unlimited if I call or text from the same carrier. I remember I used to use Verizon Wireless to have it fully unlimited but my bill was so high I had to cancel it. I'm using an LG Chocolate phone, nice flip up phone, simple to use, nothing fancy, but I sure do want to grab one of those new blackberry phones soon. So what cell phone plan do you use? Are you content with it?

I am using a plan that costs me a few dollars and it is of course not unlimited. I have 800 minutes of calls available each month for both accepting calls or call out other local carriers. Considering I seldom need to use the phone at all, this plan already gives me more than what I need.

That's good to hear as long as you're content with it and need to use it when needed to. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I have blackberry pearl 8120 & I have the service through t-mobile. I have unlimited everything & my monthly bill is about $121/month. I've looked at few of those companies such as criket & metro pcs but from what I see on their web-site, coverage isn't that great for me. Because of my work, I do travel a lot & t-mobile would work a lot better for me. I do have unlimited voice calling, unlimited text & picture messaging, unlimited internet access & emails. If you like the idea of unlimited plan & want a decent coverage through out the U.S., try a company called "Helio". They seem to be doing pretty well.

Whoa! $121 a month?? !! When I had verizon mine was $99 a month, but turned out like that same price due to taxes. As long as you can afford it good luck! But yeah for the meantime having everything unlimited for $50+ a month I definitely can't go wrong with it. Due to the economy issues we face today, It's just better off that way for me. I want a pearl 8120.....hehe

Yeah. My plan actually starts out with $99.99, then there's blackberry plan for $24.99. But I do get a little discount for working in a place I do. Without it, after all the taxes & fees, it would've come out to over $145/month. That $121/month is including all the fees & taxes. I like it & quite frankly, if I were to go with any other plan, I wouldn't be able to afford it becaue I'd be going over all the time & I know those overages would kill me.

Hi, I am using N95 smartphone, in my country there is no such unlimited plan for anything. The service providers gave us some packets for texting, calling and data for certain time on some price they offer. Here, i chose the rate data plan, so i can manage my cost for internet connection using my smartphone. I use mine for browsing, mobile messenger and retrived email.

I'm currently using AT&T. I don't use it much, I call a few friends of mine or I call or text my wife which she also uses AT&T. I prefer the same mobile to mobile that makes it cheaper for my convenience. I say unlimited for everything is not for me, but yeah it's cool to have. I'm actually using a Blackberry, nice to have it's like having a mini computer. Yeah you would like having one, but it's a bit pricey.

Lucky you want to trade? !! Yeah AT&T has been commonly known and used by many. My sister and her best friend use that carrier also. Usually they use it from same carrier to carrier and lucky for my sister because she doesn't pay a cent for the bill. Her boss through the company she works for pays for it. Hmmm wish I had that too.

I just use a cheap Nokia phone. It is one of those prepaid cell phones. I can text or make calls with it. I mainly use it for texting though as I do not like talking on the phone. I text my husband when he is away from home so we can stay in touch.

For prepaid phones yeah I would say it is a lot better use for texting than for calling. But yes simple use, you can't go wrong with it. What prepaid mobile are you using by the way?

In reality i am experienced about an alternate way to have my communicaion on mobile devices also because i was really unsatified about mobile operator deals with services but also cost which they are too much expensive in my opinion!! So in many cases i am trying to use much more voip for phone calls and wi-fi for mobile connection!!In relity my prepaid card i use only sometimes when for example i was unable to link to a wi-fi connection and so i will use 3g ones..but apart that i will use alternate serivices as well than the nomral mobile operators and i found till now is smart and really unxpensive such as you can save mor emoney that if you use traditional services when you are out of your home!!even for sms that you can send for free just have a connection wi-fi/3g available!!so i think till now is ok as so than in the past!!

I agree with you on that. To say that most mobile plans wants you to be part of a contract up to like 2 years, does cost expensive, limits you for how many minutes, only is good for same mobile to mobile to be unlimited, but costs a bit if you call a different carrier or someone's cell phone. That's why it becomes a bit of a pain what people have to go through of wanting to be off their cell phones pretty quick so they can watch their minutes. Parents too that have their children that have cell phones could get amped when they found out their child has spent so much time talking or texting and next thing to know they have a huge mobile bill to pay. Unlike Cricket, everything being unlimited with a flat month charge is of no hassle at all. I mean from $40 to $50 a month having talk, text unlimited for everything is legit. Then out there people have to pay double more than what I pay. Now about VOIP, yes that is really good to go these days kind of like Voyage or those that use Skype that are able to call anywhere at a flat rate bill.

I use verizon and I'm very happy with it. I get service nearly everywhere and it is very rare that I drop calls. I do have unlimited texting, I'm not sure exact how much extra we pay for it. $10 I think. Verizon is also very nice because you get free verizon to verizon calling and texting and there alot of people who use verizon.

Yes I agree with you on the part that Verizon is good when you are talking or texting from Verizon to Verizon. I'd say it has to be the top mobile carrier than most out there. Thanks for your post.

I have unlimited text messaging, 900 minutes, no internet though as it costs $30 extra a month to have it, so I just don't have the money for it. It is a smartphone from Verizon Wireless and my plan is $79.99 a month. This is plenty for me right now, as I don't use the phone only when my kids call and I need to use the phone for other things. My cellphone is the only phone I use as I don't have a land line. I got tired of all the telemarketers that called on my land line. I do get a few on my cellphone, but nothing like what I got on the land line. My contract is up in Feb of next year, and I will get a new phone and plan then, unless this phone goes bad before then. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Well as long as you're happy with your network. That too, I don't rely on landline these days since mobile phones are the main use in today's society. Speaking of telemarketers yeah, nothing new about that one, but this time it's automatic voice message now instead of a live person. Hmmm...how tricky they can be these days.

I have a prepaid card, i pay every phone call i make (17 c€/min) calculated on the effective seconds but i have no fixed monthly fee. I also get credit to receive calls (5 c€/min), so basically if i receive enough i can call for free :D There is no phone included so i had to buy mine. The provider is called Wind (i live in italy).

Hello there, Cricket is a great carrier. I'm using Sprint at the moment where they are serious about every penny on the bill, their support is annoying, and their phones suck and hardly every get service. My plan includes the unlimited text messaging but I want to get the Simply Everything plan where I get picture mail, text, web, minutes, well... everything! I'm satisfied but not amazed by the service.

people always told me not to go with viginmobile cause their service was crappy and i go there and i love it. i have to pay about 20.00 a month and the best thing is, they gave me 10.00 no strings attached for being with them for about 8 months. They are nice.!

From what I've heard about Virgin Mobile, it does suck! From where I'm from most people are using either Cricket, AT&T and Verizon. When I mention to them about Virgin Mobile they're like, "What? Never heard of it!"

We just changed from Tmoblie back to Boost Mobile. Boost offer unlimited Texitng Calling and Internet use. Our Tmobile plan was $79.99 for only 300 minutes plus unlimited Texting. So of course every month we spent about 10 days with NO minutes and only texting available since 300 minutes is not very much at all. Boost is pretty awesome except for the fact that their phones are not very cool at all and they are pretty expensive for not being cool at all. They also break down a lot. You pretty much need a new phone every 4-5 month but with what you save in extra charges with other plans I supposed its still a great deal. This time we went and got ourselves one of the $50.00 phones and as soon as it came out of the package we kens it was a cheapie. Made totally of that palstic that seems like tis gonna break at the first dro. and we know how many times cell phones are dropped. So we are taking good care of it so hopefully it will last at least a few month before we need a new one. Wish us luck!
