My daughter phoned me from a shop

That is pretty awesome, your daughter was able to send you pictures of dresses. Oh and great that your not just getting one but two, so you always have an extra one just in case you go to another cocktail party soon after the first one. Well I can't say that I have ever sent anyone pictures to choose on what to buy but I have sent pictures from a phone before, lol.

Amazing right? Both your daughter and the BB! I think you got to learn the magic of BB, so that you can utilize it in full in future. Good that your grandson showed you how to take pictures! Ha... I see you are getting more friendly with the technology of the day . I am young but not a very techy person my self. I learn enough to ensure that I am not left behind and enough for me to use in my everyday life comfortably. The technology is truly amazing. To answer your question... No. I have only taken pictures with my phone and uploaded them to my computer. I wonder how my girlfriend in England have not gotten on my case about photo sharing with our phones . Maybe because we chat so much through messenger. I hope you enjoy every moment of your cruise.

I've never sent a picture to anyone for them to make a choice of what to buy. But, last Christmas, my daughter and I went shopping for a specific purse my granddaughter wanted. We went to the store where it should have been, but it was sold out. So we found some similar at another store. So, we called her, and her Mom sent her 3 pictures over the cell phone to her cell phone. She picked out the one she wanted, and I bought it for her for Christmas and her Mom bought the matching billfold. I thought it was neat that she could shop miles away.

Life ended is amazing because of technology! Technology have helped us to linked us from distances and time. It eradicates distance barrier. So as a result, people have already have a constant communications from the far side of the world because of technology. I just wished that I have blackberry too, in order to take pictures and have it sent to my love ones.

Once. And ridiculous one. Few weeks back. I was with this grup of an organizations trip. We're at the most recognized market place in this tourism city called Bukittinggi. I am the only male among 6 moms, including my wife. It's only because i am the only person familiar with the city (been there couple times). At this traditional dress shop, one of the lady is eager or should i say insisted to buy her husband (at home, thousand miles from us)this formal traditional dress. In persistancy persuing her husband by phonecell, the lady ask me again and again to put it out so she can show her husband how perfect the dress is. Under intensive negotiation involving well-influenced personal (my wife), i will have to surrender to their will. I've been recorded in 5 minute lenght phone-video, showing side to side, back and front showing the silly dress that can only fit a third quarter of my body (two upper buttons loose, i can't close it)because i am 180cm Height and 75 Kg Weight while her husband was approx. 171 cm Height and 66 Kg Weight. I told my wife (later) if she'll ever allying with other for that kind of purpose again, i will not take her to any trip again. But offcourse it's just a temporarily disappoinment.

Oh yes! MMS and all its glory! Not just for buying purposes...me and my best buddies send out pictures whenever were are away for travel and one of us wasnt able to join. we sends pictures of the place with captions that were drunk already or that we love the place and hope they're too, things like that. And vice versa. The good thing also is that, Smart had made this new innovation of all MMS text20 to the same provider. Nice huh? We made use of that and we can send upto 100 MMS in a day. Sometimes when were at the mall and spotted some good looking guy, we take pictures of him and send it to our other girlfriend who's not around so she will know what she missing and teasing her. MMS is really great!

I don't own a BB yet....but yes technology is amazing! When my daughters lived in the Netherlands the grandkids would be in a Christmas program and I would have a video just hours later.....and being able to take pictures both my sister and my best friend often take pictures of either cards to make or other project in craft stores so we can remember them....my phone doesn't take pics.

I sent pictures of a 16th birthday present to my niece for her to pick. But the problem with dresses is that you can't try them one from the pictures!!!

SEE there that bb came in handy again, lol. technology is amazing nowadays. I AM REALLY NOT INTO IT LIKE I SHOILD BE. TOO old & SET IN MY WAYS. MY grandson who is 4 as u know is always telling me he'll teach me how to do something when i tell him i can't do something. That's cute that yours showed u how to take pictures. Aren't they smart? i dont remember sending pics of what to buy. just pics on the net of kids an grandkids. you are so lucky to be going on a cruise/ i've never gotten to go on one nor could afford it. lucky to have a daughter to buy you such things to. a 3yrs old showed you how to take pics?

Hey cynthiann! How cool is that? Your daughter bought you cocktail dresses for your cruise and you got to see them on your blackberry! And did you say your 3 year old grandson showed you how to take pictures? I don't think that I would know how to use the bb either, but your 3 year old grandson does! Isn't that something! We grew up with no technology and now 3 year olds can work a camera phone better than we can! I just don't know what to say! And I think that was so wonderful of your daugher to buy you the dresses! If it was me, I need to try everything on so I would never be able to buy anything over the phone!lol

Yes, my husband and I do this all the time. We are poles apart - he works at the other side of the globe, but we see and talk to each other every night, thanks to technology. When there's something I need to buy, say, a new furniture or appliances, I send him pictures of my preferred items either thru phone or email, then we both decide on the final choice. On the other hand, whenever he buys a new pair of jeans or a shirt, he sends me pictures of those things first and asks for my opinion(if they will look good on him) before buying them.

I was shopping for my Sister's kids Christmas gifts last year,and was in a Shop She suggested for stuff they'd like..I was sending her photos of what I was considering to see how She thought of them! I think the Camera phone is a great idea-it can take the place of a regular camera,and you can send pictures with it to people or a photo sharing site! They're good for when travelling..check out a hire car before driving it,and take shots of any issues that may have been missed on the agreement as evidence so you don't get stuck with them later!
