My friend's peach tree branches are bowing or is that "boughing" down. The fruit is absolutely delicious but there are way too many for all of us to eat. So I need a little bit of help and see what my MyLot friends can do with white peaches. Canning? Jams? Pies? Tell me about your favorite peach recipe. Or what fruit trees do you guys have in your garden?

I know what I do with them... I eat them by the dozen LOL they are so yummy:) I now only buy peaches at farmers markets and those little ones that sell by the road. |There is no point on buying peaches in the supermarket because they just don't taste like anything. Sometimes hubby brings big baskets and of course there are too many for us to eat. I usually just peel them and take cut then in small pieces and then boil then in plenty of water. Then when the water reduced by half add a bit of brow sugar, a cinnamon stick and a few drops of lemon juice. We love it in bread, with ice cream and we're all known to just get a spoon at eat it directly from the jar LOL Really love the white peaches, but I like any kind as long as they are juicy and sweet.

Aren't they great. These white peaches are so juicy and sweet I think I ate too many. But it's way better than eating junk food. Thanks for the peach recipe. I'll try it for sure.

I love fresh peaches and canned ones sometimes. I like peach ice cream too. Have you ever thought about making a peach cobbler? I do not have a recipe for it but I am sure you can find it online. I would freeze some peaches also.

Looks like we're gonna freeze them. And I'm hunting down a peach cobbler recipe online. Thanks Steph, hope you're having a wonderful day.

Why not all :) I love peaches and used to always make a trip to the orchard with my Grandma or my mother-in-law. We would buy bushel baskets of peaches and make peach jam, can sliced peaches, and freeze some for peach pies in the winter. Of course I had 4 kids so many of the peaches never made it past the washing stage :)

Yeah, we're about to slice some and freeze them. Makes for a great desert . . . like peach Popsicle or something. I should dip them in whipped cream. Mmmmm.

Hehehe, I'm getting hungry myself. Cold white peaches, when the weather is so hot sounds pretty good. Okay, I'll stop now.

I like fresh fruit but if there is just too much then preserving them would be a good way to enjoy them for a long time to come. You might also give them away.

Mmmm..i love peachers, they are one of my favorite fruits, second only to pears. My favorite ways to eat them are in peach pies and peach cobblers, though i have never made either of these myself, so i coudln't begin to tell you how! They are also really good just baked, like you would with apples. Cut in half, remove the pit, put a little dollop of butter and some brown sugar over them in a baking dish at back at 350 until their are warm, and soft, and just starting to brown and caramelize on top. Topped with a little whipped cream, cool whip or vanilla icecream, they make a divine dessert!
