Has the Internet Really Helped You To Find Reviews On Alot of Good Products?

I almost always look at reviews online before I buy something and for the most part they are very reliable. One problem with some products (especially electronics) is that people only tend to review if they really, really like a product or really, really dislike it. Another thing to watch out for is reviews that have been 'planted' by people who represent the product. Generally if a site is full of absolutely glowing, flowery reviews it's best to check out another one. But all in all I have a few different sites I regularly use for reviews on different things and find user submitted review to be a great resource.

For me the biggest thing I use review wise online is probably movies. For me I always forget what a movie is so I'll IMDB it and watch the preview again and then read the reviews and if its ok reviews I probably still see it but if its bad then I'll probably just wait until my friend downloads it. But I am glad I reviewed the hangers that they show on TV and cascade down because I found out you really don't get extra space with it since its all bunched at the bottom so instead I ended up finding a better product during the search. Plus its always great to review users on ebay before buying from them to see how they have done in the past.

I would definitely have to say yes to this one. If I want to know anything about anything, all I need to do is look it up on the internet. It is because of the internet that I found all kinds of wonderful things that I would have never found otherwise. The internet is a great way to find information and good reviews.

Yes, the internet is great for researching products before you buy. Just be careful not to believe everything you read. Many sites pay people to write good reviews. I look at the site name to see if it's only promoting one product or one company. If so, I don't rely on it completely. I look for general sites that review many products such as CNET for electronic items. For other research, I look for sites that end in .gov (government) or .edu (education), or respected sites like the Mayo Clinic and other hospital sites. You have to be careful you're really at the official American Heart Association, or American Cancer Society site because other sites often have similar names. Once I find sites I trust, I bookmark them and return to them often. Just like books and magazines, the internet can have great information or just trash. I love the internet because there is so much information out there. If there's something that's fake, you can usually find another person exposing it.

well i read reviews and depending on how they good and bad they are i buy them. but i rarely buy things because i'm cheap but my mom buys it for me. so the reviews are kind of right most of the time. but some reviews on product are really fake. because someone once on this money making website told me to write a fake review on his product for 1.00. and i need 2.00 till pay out. so i did it. i felt bad because what if someone would buy it based on my review. but if i didn't do it we all know someone would have. so its hard for me to believe reviews now. but i give them a little credit.

It does for some product but you really need to check more than 1 review as some are cheaters. Just like us, the owner of the products can also access the Internet. I usually seek review on hotels for vacation. It's easier to decide after reading lots of review about them. I also search for free samples of household products that's available via online.
