Do you often forget your promise

Promises can only be said so if they follow the faithfulness.A person upon promising means he/she delivers his/her trust to the other person and believes in him/her for their for their duties too. Promises mustn't be forgotten if they were made at he spot of truth,sincerity and well good understanding.They are very tough to be maintained when it comes to duties for all,but we must give our best every time.

Perhaps forgetting a promise is normal. Because I admit that I also forget a promise. No one being a perfect person. We all committed a mistake and that mistake sometimes is forgetting a promise...how about you?

Hi hotsummer, It's always best to keep your promises because than people will know as someone they can depend on. I think you may be making too many promises. Never make a promise that you know you can't keep and take all promises seriously, this might mean having to cut back on the number of promises you make. Blessings.

hmm, frankly, i always remember my promises. even if when i forget them temporarily, i'll realize them asap when i think of them later. so i seldom give promises easily. but i cant understand some ones. they will give u promises easily, while when they turn around, forget some of them. i just thought it was their strategy, not to say no.

i never promise anything if i knwo i can't be able to fulfill. and if i do promise i make it a point to do what i said, i don't want people losing trust on me.. it's very important for me as a person. because i easily lose trust in others when they disappoint me too.. so I know how it feels when somebody breaks his/her prmise. i avoid it. when i promise my son soemthing.. i make sure it is there even before i said it would be.

I try my best not to forget a promise but yes, I have forgotten because I am human. You are human too so to be human is to be at fault but doesn't mean we've done so intentionally. It happens. Now if I were to promise a child something, you can bet your top dollar that I'll make it happen because they are so vulnerable and if a promise isn't kept, they'll remember it for the rest of their days.

I don't make promises. Like you, I would probably forget, so it's best I don't make any in the first place.

Hi there, well yes . I will not say my promises made but my hubby always complaining to me that i always broke my promises. I really hate myself when i always forget or broke my promises i feel bad. I said that i will not do it again but still i forget. Well if you promise yourself or anybody else you have to do it its really a bad feeling if not accomplish, hope i can make sense here keep on mylotting

The best thing to do in that case is not promise anyone anything. That way they have nothing to hold you to. It sucks when you hear people promise something then they forget it. But then again, just let them know that you forget things easily and could they please remind you.

Promises are meant to be Broken!!! well the rule applies sometimes when we actually forget about a promise we made. If the promise made is small, then there are great chances of we forgetting the promises.

Hi hotsummer I try not make too much promise. I rarely say "I promise" because I think promise made to be fulfilled and it means I have one new responsibility after make one promise. I rarely forget my promise because I only promise for important things and I make a note in my cellphone of all my promises. Once I wasn't fulfil my promise because of my own intention and that's fine, because of certain condition. I think you better make a note or list of your promises, or write it in your calendar or planner. Type it in calendar menu in your cellphone, so you won/t make other people angry or disappointed anymore. Or, just say "Let's we see, I will do the best I can" or "I will try to do it, I will call you about it later" than say "I promise". Hope this can help

I seldom forget if I make the promise. My daily work is to follow up something such delivery, sometimes, I have several dozens of issue to deal with in a day. I seldom miss a thing, if something is really important, I will write a note for reminder later.

No..maybe.. if I make any promise I think I may forget..I may record it on my cellphone to remind me ..

I find that its better to not make promises. Or favors.

I never promise something I cannot do. The problem is that sometime we failed to deliver on our promises.These could be caused by changing circumstances beyond our control.For me, I try my best to keep all my promises. If I cannot deliver , I will not make the promises. I will not be like the others who is fond of making promises. I am not a politician and I do not need to promise to any one. Nice topic, though.

Yes ,I often forget my promise.It often makes my closest friend crazy.I worried about my shortcoming before.It is a big question.But now I don't make promise easily.I thanks my friend ,who helps me to get rid of my shortcoming.

I do not like forget my promise. No matter what i do i will choose the exact time. And i will try my best to finish the first plan. Maybe i can forget something but i could find a good ways to deal with it.

Hello hotsummer Why promise people anything at all, are you actually saying I promise I will do such/such its one thing to say I will do this for you, or I will do that,but a promise goes a little deeper in my opinion, personally I don't tell people I will do things if can't do it, my problem really is my time people always want to be some where and I say I can't go or I don't want to go depending on the situation. But promise is different to me, when my daughter was younger I promised her something to this day she always bring it up when she is mad at me, I feel bad cause I know I didn't keep my word and to your child your word means everything and I feel bad I am like can you please get over it already, she says mom you promised me. So I say maybe you should stop using the word promise, if you keep promising things to people and not following through it makes it look like your word means nothing, that is not a good look, my word means a lot to me, so I don't make promises I can't keep, well not any more unfortunately I had to learn the hard way.

hi i think i find the salon,the same to you ,i always forget it. yes ,it make me gain a new name 'one day memory'and STM. don't care about this,they are you friend,they love you. the love doesn't damage because of you forgeting some promised. happy everyday.lots of friend complained about this, on the contratry,it show them love you more!! you shoud happy!
