When Liberals do it, it's called "enlightenment" and "understanding".

Tell me who are these conservatives you speak of that mindlessly stereotype people? now if you mean liberals in general it is a class of people who typically are suppose to stand for this or that so I guess you can say that is stereotyping. If you mean one calling the other "idiot" and vise versa... that is true what you say. Seriously though Liberals are wacko... the Sean Penn Liberals I mean not the Penn Jillette ones...lol

So you must not be a liberal, since you don't lump everyone in the same category. :~D

NO I'm not... I'm a conservative I think... Maybe a dash Libertarian... Penn Jillette Libertarian. But I really feel for the Libertarians who have had their name stolen from them and messed up with this new breed of Liberals... Libertarian liberals are for less government ... today's Liberals what the government to control everything. Polls show that within the like 17% or so Americans who identify themselves as Liberal... there are Libertarians and this new Liberal within this percent who are really confused now on what to call themselves.

True, there are "liberals" and there are "progressives". The progressives usually sound a lot like Marxists to me.

I have to say I don't see what you are saying at all... I know Liberals, Democrats and Republicans who voted for Obama... many are now unhappy that they did but hey... not everyone who voted for Obama is a Liberal and not everyone who still puts their faith in him today are Liberal.

Oh and Para... excellent point. I can't get into a discussion without being slapped in the face with "Bush"... I did not vote for him... I disagreed often with him...not everyone who voted against Obama or who are against his agenda now was a Bush supporter...not all and in my option not even most Conservatives classified Bush a Conservative especially in his final year as president... and he's not the president anymore... To put everyone in that category who doesn't go for Obama's agenda and a Bush supporter is a stereotype... and now I get where you were going with this discussion.

Ted, I went to your profile in an attempt to read what others said here before I answered, but I couldn't find this post! Did MyBot yank it? Well, anyway, I really just wanted to see what sort of answers you got. I'll go look, now, then maybe comment. Maggiepie "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"

Okay. Been here, read them. Missy, glad you understand. Don't you wish government schools still taught logic & debate? Had they done so, we'd have a far different (& better!) country today. WTG, Ted. Good one. Maggiepie (Conservative Penn fan...) "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"
