Well I'm so sick of the minute by minute updates on FOX News so I took a mylot members suggestion from long ago and started a Left Sided Politics. I thought that this interest would be a great place where Liberals/Democrats could ask questions and talk about issues without being attacked I could only hope right? So what do you think, time for a new politics section when you're sick of hearing about FOX News and WND.com?

I think this is a great idea. I would be really nice to go into a room about politics and not have to put up with a certain crazy women who post ever minute of the day.

I have no idea what you're all talking about, my star refused to go into politics after its sordid encounter with religion.

No BC's, no Palin, no FOX, just plain easy talk. You know get different views on stuff, like I wanted to know what you do when you don't really like anyone that is running for a locale office and those sorts of stuff. JB sorry I had to go out in the *real world* for a while. I had to collect my duck eggs and stuff.

zephyr seems to have gone so i'll continue filling up her section. that name should have been in italics x. and you call yourself a scientist. anyway, i think there's a few that sometimes need a break from all the very similar and sometimes very badly put discussions in politics. have you also considered adding my section which thea insists on describing as feeble but is actually extremely glamorous and interesting (maybe, well actually probably not)?

Typical lefty attitude. Hide away from any opposing views, surround yourself with like minded people, so you can pat yourselves on the back for being "open minded". Enjoy your cacoon of myopic thought.

I'm not hiding away because several conservatives have ventured into my new interest. Liberals are just sick of the same discussions over and over with a little different wording in the main politics section. There's several of us that are tired of the name calling because we are adults but conservatives seem to like to call names when they are wrong. Enjoy your toys, I have my own.

Heh, maybe it's just because I'm not american so I'm not following you very well on this matter. If you don't like FOX just switch to whichever of the other hundreds of informative services that you have over there? Lefists/democrats/liberals/people that like to think they're good in the world never cease to amaze me sometimes. Even when having their party finally on power again they still keep targeting people who just happen to have the opposite political stand. So I ask what's wrong with the diversity on political opinions? Do you need to have people agreeing with you all the time otherwise you'll flip out or something?

Well the people on this site that regularly post in the politics section have complained all the time about a certain member that starts 10-20 discussions in that section every day and all it is, is, a copy and paste job from some FOX News article. So, we needed an area that allows us to discussion something other than FOX's headlines. I absolutely do not need someone agreeing with me all the time as a matter of fact I love a good debate but, I don't like one that is filled with false falacies. I love diversity in every sense of the word even when it comes to politics. And, by the way, I have no problem with FOX News but, if I want a headline update, I'll go visit their website.

Sure, anything other news source besides the ones we have is better. Lets take this country back from all the politicians and pundits who just talk about freedom.

Oh, I forgot in my explaination of Conservatives and Liberals the Conservatives/Republicans are elephants and the Liberal/Democrats are donkeys.
