My Mom, My Cat, My Mom, My Cat....... I'm So Scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi catsanddogs wow when it rains it really pours,first your 'cat'then worrying about your mom. I am hoping it was just one of those senior moments when she forgot those phone numbers, but with'hjaving had a bad headache I can see why you are worried.my that bite 'soesnt sound good with its being red and swollen. I will also do'some praying that your arm gets better without any more trouble. I do hope you find Lil Tux soon,keep us all informed. good luck.

I hope your mom is ok! My ex father in law had a TIA a few months ago but his daughter took him right into the ER--he zoned out in the middle of a sentence so she knew something was happening, not like your mom who had a headache. Anyway, he's fine now, no bad repercussions. I hope it'll be like that with your mom! Now that you have an ER bill, maybe a lawyer will take your case because it has elements of personal injury in it. You were actually physically hurt and they'll see a profit motive there. I hope you get your kitty back and your mom is alright. This has been a horrid week for you!

Aww Cats, I am so sorry, I know your scared out of your mind. I wish I could say it will all get better, but I know how things have been for you and your family. All I can do is be here and pray that you all will be fine. Take care and keep us posted. You have my email if you ever need a shoulder.

And never a real thought for yourself. I know the other lady cares about animals or she would not have had her animal in the clinic, to get it confused with hers. You are right, she is offering to be helpful and check the traps, and that will save you a lot. I hope she is bright enough to deal well with Lil Tux when she does get him. I do understand your worrying about your mom. Hopes and prayers all the way around. I hope your bite gets better, Cats.

oh, I had so hoped you were going to tell us you caught Lil Tux, but at least you have come to terms with the lady... I too hope you won't need to see a surgeon for the bites, the roomie got on antibiotics after Nino went bugsh*t on her arm, and she didn't need anything more than that - still has scars from that Gosh, I hope your mom is alright too, could be nothing, after all, I sometimes have to think hard for numbers during of just after a migraine

If it was a mini stroke, it is fortunate that it was noticed and help for her is being given. My neighbor had a mini stroke and she spent a few days in the hospital and was released about two weeks ago and she doesn't even seem like she had a stroke! It is so amazing what they can do now. You Mom may be put on blood thinners so that the clots can be dissolved and blood will flow freely through her system. Also, with a horrible headache like she had, it is normal to lose important information for a short period of time. I suffer from horrible horrible migraines and for a few days after having had one of my MAJOR migraines I forget important phone numbers and other information. You need to de-stress. You have so much trama in your life right now between Lil Tux and your Mom. Then to add insult to it all you have the swollen arm and the redness. It is a minor infection (hopefully they gave you a tetanus shot) and the antibiotics will help. You might want to soak your bite area in water that is a bit hotter than normal to help pull any "stuff" out of the wound. (I got bitten by a friend's cat, and of course I got infected too. I was on antibiotics and also soaked the wound in hot hot water. It took a few days, but it cleared up.) Next, fix yourself a drink of whatever your favorite relaxation drink is. Turn both your Mom and Lil Tux over to your angels. When you go out to catch Lil Tux the next time, pray to your angels that you will be able to bring Lil Tux home. I know most people pray to God, but I read in Woman's World that it really helps to pray to your angels. When I first got Monica and Little Bit, my mini Dachshunds, I had taken them out of the car to relieve themselves. Little Bit was wonderful and came right back to me. Monica ran off! We searched for over an hour, frantically as there was busy roadways on three sides of the field where she ran off. There was about 100 yards between roads...so I was beyond frantic. I wasn't about to leave the area without that dog!!! I was to the point of tears when Woman's World popped into my mind and praying to my angel. So I gave it a try. I was standing in the middle of the absolutely flat field when I prayed. I looked down and nothing was there, then Monica appeared 50 feet away from me. She appeared out of thin air...I couldn't believe it, but it really happened! I called her name and she came flying as fast as her short little legs could carry her. You are in my prayers...big time. You have had your three things go wrong, so you should be having clear sailing for awhile. I send my love and tons of hugs. I hope and pray that your Mom is better and that you will recover Lil Tux.

You have a lot on your plate Cats, I’m so sorry...I am praying that your mum will be okay. Has she seen a doctor now? It is hard to be strong when there are so many things worrying you all at once! I’m glad you’ve made peace with the lady who took Lil Tux and that she is helping you to find him, I hope she’s successful, I really do! It doesn’t sound like a bad idea to pursue legal action either... I’ll keep the prayers coming and I hope that one by one everything that is worrying you will be resolved in the most harmonious way. Geez, when it rains, it pours! I'm so sorry all this is happening to you! Hopefully the "bad things happen in threes" thing is true because between the cat, your mom and your arm, you've got your three things out of the way and now maybe things will start to turn around for you. Hi there dear! Dont worry you are just diverting the situation to something else because you are scared for your mother.It happens sometimes when a person is too much stressed out with certain things.Do you think your mom has some sort of pressure over her?is she sad with something.Does she shares things with you?try to ask her problems and try to make her a bit lighter at heart. Thia is all nothing but its just when a person is too much stressed sometimes he cannot remember certain important things its just for time being it happens with me many times because most of my time i am depressed and over loaded on my brain.

You don't say how old mom is. she could be getting alzheimers too. But, it's been a while since you started this discussion and I'm only guessig but if she had a stroke you've already taken care of it. Small or mini strokes are warnings and you should get her immediate help. But, then you seem to know that. As far as lil tux goes,you probably won't get him back. He's a smart cat and he'll be fine. He can hunt and apparently is doing ok. There will be another cat for you to take in and love. I do feel for you, but girl, life is filled with God's little mysteries. Turn both mom and lil tux over to HIM :) My prayers are with you !

Sweetie, Right now I as well as many other mylot buddies are worried about you. Lil Tux will be fine until you get him back. You know how self sufficient cats are. I'm sure he has a buddy already. As for your Mom, I know how difficult it has been for you trying to take care of her. Your Dad will let you know how she is doing. Just take care of yourself and rest, then rest some more. That infection in your arm will spread if you keep up going at this rate of speed. Please slow down a little. We'll pray for you Mom and Lil Tux. Jimmy needs to slow down too. Hey cats~ I am just so very sorry that you are going through all this! I know how worried you are about Lil Tux and now you have to worry about your Mom too! Let the woman who lives in the area where Lil Tux is lost try to find Lil Tux. She will do her best to get him for you. Try to first concentrate on yourself and on your Mom. You are only one person and can only do so many things! You have to take care of yourself first or you will be of no use to anyone and right now you need to see what is going on with your Mom! So try and take one thing at a time! Lil Tux is a strong cat and he knows how to take care of himself. You need to watch out so that your infection doesn't get worse.
