Grandson Says the Blessing.

I din't get to here his first blessing, wish i had. My dil told me about it. They were at her mom/s eating pizza the other night & my grandson ask if he could say the blessing. well, his mom said she just swelled up w/pride when he ask thinking he would say the one that we all have said & taught our kids to say, God is great,etc. they all bowed their heads & Ryan said, God thank u for this pizza & please let there be enough left for breakfast in the morning. I think he cracked them all up. would he have tickled y'all?

How bright that grandson of yours is! I mean he knows how to say the blessing meaningfully. I think he is even smarter than some adults who don't even know how to thank God before eating! So wonderful of him

LOL. We have a prayer that my whole family says also. I have heard some other ones being said by children also. That is so cute what he said. I hope he had some pizza left over for breakfast LOL. That did tickle me too.

Aw, bless his heart! It would have tickled me to no end to have heard that. I love the open innocence of children...and they are naturally funny without even meaning to be. It reminds me of the old Art Linkletter show, Kids Say The Darnedest things! It was such a hoot! Hugs, Karen

Gee they learn early do they not? What a cute little prayer, and I loved the part about "Please let there be enough left for Breakfast in the morning." This is a smart little grandson you have their already.

Well his heart is in the right place and atleast he is learning to pray and give God thanks.Its really nice to know that he will obviuosly grow up a God fearing boy and make you all proud of him .Great discussion Antique and you know we can never get enough of you and your grandson ,so keep them coming .
