I've work since I graduated college and it takes me hard times to get a stable job. Every job that I have been is always worth it because I gain learnings on it.It motivates me and helps me to be more flexible. I am now with my work but I am still looking for work that needs more challenge and searching for greener pasture.

I just graduated from college last year and I have been working for sales and marketing for 1.5 years now. The past few months I have somehow lost interest in it already. Mainly because it has become a routine already. Also, I feel like the company isn't investing on us that much, in terms of additional educational. It's sort of frustrating for me since I am just 22 and I still want to learn more. I believe that companies should invest on their employees since they are the ones bringing in the income. I'm still on the lookout for the "perfect" job.

hello velentina, your name sounds like my father-in-law's name. his name is valentin. yours is the female version. but anyway, yes, indeeed i love my work. infact i am working here for twenty five years already. this is my first job since i graduated from college. many of my friends and co-workers resigned already and went abroad, worked in other companies, have a business of their own but me, i prefer to stay. though i tried also to apply a couple of times but when the schedule of my interview comes, i just can't do it. maybe because i treasure my work here. i'm enjoying it and that is all that matters. besides, i was sent to have a training, work abroad by the company for how many times including my family for two years. have travelled and seen a lot of places because of the company. the benefits are great too. and because of this, i am so loyal.

You're so lucky to have a job like that... that's what I've always wanted - a job that will send you to places for training. I hope mine will be like that soon.

But if you are earning ok. You can travel with your money... Try working with the government, they usually have very good travel allowances. Loook for multinational company. You can visit other plants on the other side of the world.

Hello velentina! I do like my work. In fact, I LOVE my work! I have been teaching for a little over a decade now. I am teaching in one of the universities here in our city. It's not something I have wanted since I was younger. But for sure, I am enjoying it!

Hello velentina, Congratulations on your teaching profession. That is a wonderful line of work. I wish you much success. When I look back over the years there have been very few jobs that I liked. If I had to make a list of pros and cons, I think every job had more cons, with maybe the exception of one: I was a fitness instructor at a retirement community. That was fun - most of the time. Now I work with my best friend who is a real go getter and knows his stuff. And I must say that now I LOVE my job. It isn't always easy and perfect but it is very enjoyable.

I do enjoy teaching but I think it is because I only work part time. I am not sure I would last if I has to do it the entire day. Of course I would prefer to not have to work outside my home.

What to do if you do not like your work but still need to depend on it for survival? I used to like my work but now I no longer like it. To have a change, it means starting all over again. Instead of starting all over which I do not want to, I have no choice but to continue with the work no matter how I dislike it.

I was an instructor in technical school then but I resign because i want to put up my own business in computer. Now, I would say that I like to do business than to work as instructor of electricity, electronics and computer technician...I see that there is no progress in teaching for more years that i stay in college as technical instructor...Have a nice day!

I currently enjoy my job. I'm an Administrative Assistant and I find it challenging to keep up with the different things that are thrown at me. For the first time I am pleased with the two bosses that I have to work with and I feel they are utilizing me better than before. That's a good feeling. I've had this job for 8 years and now it's enjoyable because of my expanded role.

I've worked at hundreds of jobs now. I can't even remember all the places I've worked. At this point, I've given up on finding an enjoyable job. Now it's simply whatever pays the bills. If it pays money, that's all that matter. I'm glad you found something you enjoy! :) Remember to appreciate that, since not everyone does.

Good for you! Only few people love their work and are passionate about it. I salute you for being one of the few people. Your work is not as simple as it sounds, I think you really have to be patient as teaching kids can be really be tiring and trying. As for me I love my work as an accountant. I love numbers! It is like magic for me when I get to see how a company performed for a particular period. But you know, loving and liking work does not equate to loving your work colleagues. We might love our work so much but still resign because of people issue. Isn't it grand if we could love office mates as much as we love our work? Hmmm, we can't have everything otherwise life will be too sweet and perfect.

I am not crazy about my job. It is a fairly easy job, not physical, it has good hours, good days off, the pay is not bad but not great but fair for type of job. I have really good medical benefits, vacation, 401 k and such. The company is well know and profitable. So............I really have nothing to complain about other than the fact I don't get much enjoyment out of it and not real fond of policies and procedures BUT I do feel lucky and fortunate to have this job will all the above mentioned benefits it offers. Especially the way the job market is now and no jobs available. I am glad you are happy with your situation!

Hi Velentina, Of course i love my work. I am right now working with a health organization with special projects on Reproductive Health. I am involved in the Adolescent Reproductive Health project conducting and facilitating trainings. My work developed my people skills and provided me the opportunity to meet different types of people and effectively deal with them. I know in my own simple way i created an impact in their lives. I also learned from them. I love my work and will continue to enrich my chosen profession.

Let's see, what day is this...? In general, yes I like my job..but there are those times when convention business can be a bummer..As a for instance, we recently had a very large volume convention of folks who were the biggest, most arrogant slobs going..They, quite literally, trashed the place..So with those folks it wasn't a fun job. Luckily, the most of the folks we deal with carry on like they come from a civilized part of the galaxy and that is what makes it enjoyable..
