I have slammed my finger in a car door and it was very painful. It was by accident that it happened. I thought I was going to lose my finger but I got lucky and still have my finger. It did not brake my finger but it was black and blue. I ended up spraning it and putting a splint on my finger. The split help my finger come back to normal. I hated wearing that split.it was uncomfortable and it made my finger sweat. It was worth it in the end because my finger was back to normal. I am more careful I don't slam the car door on my finger when I get out. I want to keep my fingers.

I slammed my finger tip in a car door once. It hurt a lot at the time. I have noticed that the finger nail now grows at a slight upward angle when I allow it to grow long. That reminds me of the experience and it reminds me to be more careful when exiting a motor vehicle.

I have experienced a situation where my finger was slammed by the car door. But it was not actually me who slammed the door close but a friend of mine. He was thinking that my fingers were not there and it was okay to close the door. Well, it was obviously painful. Luckily there was no swelling and no wound.

Oh, that does sound pretty bad. I hope you feel better soon and your finger gets back to normal. I am lucky to have not accidentally slammed a car door into any of my fingers. I have accidentally dropped something on a finger before. I was really painful and get all black and blue with bruise.

I had a friend who had the similar incident, and I could tell by the way she bawled that it freakin' hurt. It was just a good thing that the door did not totally close, but it simply bounced back. But she said it still hurt though. But based on my experience, I have tried getting my 2 fingers stuck between the swing doors of a food chain here. I kind of forgot that it was a swinging door, and accidentally left 2 of my fingers when I pushed the door. When the door slammed shut, I only yelped a little as I was just surprised. A second later, my fingers began to throb and go all red. I wanted to cry right there and there. Hahaha

Yeh my finger got stuck in a car door once. I was young that time, probably around 8 years old but i can still remember that incident. I got out of the car and my dad closed the door, but for some reason I left my hand there and he did not see it. It was a total accident, but luckily there was a lot of rubber around the door that protected my finger. It hurt for a couple of days but it got better after that.

Yes I had. It was my wife or rather my girlfriend, then who slammed my fingers in my car door accidentally. The pain was excruciating. Due to that she had Hobson's choice, she had to marry me. Heh,heh, just joking.

not on the car door but the kitchen door leading outside, lol. it happened so fast and i was really in a hurry. we were on our way out for church and we had very little time to catch the schedule. they were in the car already and i was last to lock the doors. i hurriedly closed it and slammed my right middle finger. the blood was profusely coming out and the nail was off. instead of going to church, we went to the emergency room of the hospital and had the nail taken out after anesthesia was given. we should all be careful with things and not act in a hurry.

Yes i have, typing with it now. so this is the story my step mum over spent so i had to go look after the trolley while she got money out so i hopped out my car almost dropped my iPod so i grabbed that and slammed my right index finger in the door. i was like pointing at it while my dad was in the car saying my finger's in the door, not screaming just because the pressure on it i undone the door and bam i started crying my eyes out really hurt. so i just bandaged it up. (: really not good.

I have never done this before. I have heard that many people have done it though. I bet that really does hurt. It is a wander that it just doesn't take the part of the finger right off. Ouch!

I slammed once the car door on my finger. I was very lucky since I needed to get out from a small car and it was hard. So I grabbed the top of the car and just did my best to get out. And than boom I slammed it on my finger. I had a fast reaction when I was closing it and luckily it was only the tip of my finger that was affected. It hurt for a couple of days and than stop. I wasn't in the same situation as you.
