I think I would go to somewhere not far from my original country, I mean, I wouldn't want my family to have difficulty adjusting to the new residence, I'd probably go somewhere in Asia than in Europe. Where will you go?

If I had to move to another country I would probably pick one of the countries that I already know. I have lived in Italy twice and I miss that country very much, so that would be my first choice. I have many friends from Italy, and it would be nice to live close to them and spend time with them again. I have also lived in Scotland and in Germany. I like Scotland, and I think it is a very beautiful country, but I prefer the Italian climate. Germany is another option that I would consider. It is close to Denmark and I already speak German, so I wouldn't have to learn a new language.

It's good to see that you're really thinking the situation out deep. You're fortunate to have been to many places thus being able to decide more objectively.

If I was forced to migrate to another country I would choose to move to either Australia or New Zealand. Both are English speaking countries that I have been to and are in my list of favorite countries. I think it would be challenging to migrate to a non-English speaking country but if I did I would try my very best to learn the language. In a war I think Switzerland would be a very safe country to move to. It is neural and their people stayed safe in World War II.

If I were forced to relocate to another country, I believe that I'd prefer to go to Australia. English is their primary language, although we speak with a different dialect. From what I have read, their climate is much the same as ours here in south central Texas. Most important, I do not think that I would be persecuted for my Christianity. It would be closer for me to go to Canada. They speak English in most of the country, and I would not expect to have a problem with my faith. However, these old arthritic joints just don't like the cold.

It would be extremely difficult to leave, but if I had to go I'd probably choose either Canada or England. At least they speak the same language and I've been to both places and have always enjoyed my visits.

I would go to puerto rico. My honey is from there and I know he would want to go home if we were forced the leave the United States. Although I dont think I would mind living in a little village in scotland or england. Somewhere safe.

i think no matter how far or near that would be, still we will all have difficulty in adjusting. specially if you have good friends and neighbors. no matter if you will only change city adjusting to a new environment and new neighbors is notthat easy. you dont know who to trust with and things like that. i am from asia and i guess if we are force to migrate then i will choose Europe or the US for i have relatives already there. i have a brother at london and being near to someone i know already would be easier to adjust. just my opinion

Hi there Lay Dee. I think that i have a couple of ideas regarding an alternative location and these include: England, Greece, the USA (but preferably a location that is not close to natural disasters), maybe even Spain, Portugal.

Since i've been to Washington, DC -- i will choose this place if I will be given the chance to migrate with my family. I already had an experience living there and learned about the US culture and how to deal with its people.

I would go to Florida, in the United States. My parents had a winter home there for many years, and each winter I would go there for three or four weeks vacation. I love everything about Florida, the people, the pace and the weather. You wouldn't have to force me to go though, I would be very willing to relocate there.

I am not sure for I have never met such a bad situation before. If I have to leave from my home and mirgrate to another country, as you have said above, I will go to somewhere not far from my original country, then my family can adjust to the new surroundgins easily without more difficulities. For example, I am from China, if I have to mirgrate to another country, my choice is going to some South Asian countries. Of course, there are no people who want to leave away from their own countries and motherlands.

If I am forced to migrate to another country, I might consider migrating either to Switzerland where is scenery is super beautiful and peaceful or to Canada where I have a lot of friends and a few relatives. It is also close to the U.S. where many of my close friends also live. However, migrating and living in a new country is a difficult situation, it usually takes courage, guts, and lots of hard work to blend in the new culture and learn there way of living.

I believe I would love to go to Scotland or Wales. I have both in my heritage and have always wanted to see them. Australia, too, would be a thought - much of that country is similar to where I live now. I have a feeling that if I was forced to migrate, I wouldn't have the funds to go so far, though. I'd probably head for Canada.
