Hi rosepedal, nice to see you again. I hope the move went well and you are comfortably settled. I'm curious...what is the difference between a camper and a mobile?

Wow,,,this is interesting. Over hear, a camper trailer is a trailer and the top folds out to reveal a large bed and an area for storage while camping...we would put a small table and chairs in ours or playing cards when it rained. We could also attach an annexe if we wanted which was at ground level. We would attach part of it as a wind break. This can be 4 wheel drive or not and is for camping. Then there are caravans. Starting with ones that look a lot like a large trailer but the walls and roof pop up. There might be 3 or 4 bunk beds and a kitchen area. Larger caravans have a double bed in a separate room, a small area for a shower and toilet a dining/living area a kitchen area and extra bunks...this has wheels and is towed behind a car and generally used for holidays. If it is permanently set up at a caravan site, people might live there. There are some structures in caravan parks without wheels that need a truck to transport and drop them on the site...these are like a prefab home Your mobile home sounds enormous. Do people tow them around? Our mobile homes are like the big Winnebagos; it's like a truck and caravan combined with a roll out annexe...very modern with all sorts of comforts.

To me alot. The camper is small and mainly used for camping. It is 29 feet long, one small bedroom, and livingroom and kitchen combined. The mobile home is also known as an trailer. You know like what is in trailer parks except mine is out in the country. It is 16 foot wide and 60 feet long, two bedrooms,2 baths, large kitchen, and large livingroom. A big difference. Thanks for asking and you have a great week. Keep smiling.

Rosepedal! I feel terrible! I am sure you told all of us of your pending absence, but I totally forgot if I did see said discussion! I hope your move went well. My sister moved in a matter of two days not too long ago. I doubt when my husband and I move it will take nearly that long as when we do move it will be a matter of a few feet away on my MIL and FIL's propery. How I dream of that day! We already have a good idea on what kind of a doublewide we want!

Welcome back. I'm glad to see that you are here again. You were missed. I am so glad that you got moved and are now in a bigger place. It may take awhile to get settled and everything in it's place so coming here I know will not be a priority, but I hope to see you as often as you can come in.

I am glad to see you too, back on mylot, rose. It's really nice to have our own computer so that no one will ever tell us to stop if they want to use their computer. At least by now, you can now concentrate and can go and catch up with the backlogs you have there. I still don't have my own. I use the office desktop during office hours whenever i have chances. I also have my mobile phone (the one i am using now for this particular post) but it's so tiny for my eyes and fingers so i can't do more. And welcome back...

Yeah my son has the cell phone that he uses for internet use when he is away from home. I don't think that I would like that too much but he loves it. Thanks for your thoughts. I will be doing a lot of catch up over the next few days. Have a great weekend and keep smiling.

Welcome back!!! I am hoping that we can be friends and share ideas. I know how it feels when you have to move. The packing is what I always hated the most. It is hard to find boxes and crates that it hold all of your stuff. I am glad that you had moved into a bigger place. My husband and I bought our house a little over a year ago and we love it. Little by little we have been doing some improvements. I want to wish you the best of luck.

Thank you very much. I don't see any reason why we cant be friends and share our thoughts on subjects. We are hoping that maybe she might sale this place to us after the first of the year. Well that is what we would like to do. I know more on that after all the holidays is over. Have a great evening. Keep smiling.

Thanks jugs I hope that the kidos will let you have some time on here this weekend. I know that when my grandson comes over he wants to get on here and play games, and I have to give him a limit or I would never get to use the computer. I am so happy for your coming back again. It is really difficult for us to keep away from the Internet for more than one week. At least, it is next to impossible for me to face the situation where I stay one place without the Internet access. Hope you can enjoy a better time here. You see, myLot is becoming another "home" of all myLotters. By the way, enjoy a better life in your new mobile home. Happy myLotting!
