There are alot of people out there that would like to donate their organs if they were to die. They used to advertise about donar cards and now they do not.I have lost my card that gave permission for them to take my organs if i was to die so i have now got to get another one. What about you?

I do have a donor card. I have had one for years. I hope that when I die that I will be able to donate as many organs as possible including corneas and maybe even skin tissue. I can think of nothing better than my useless body helping someone else. Then what is left I want cremated and scatter in the gulf near the panhandle of Florida.

Here in Arkansas in the United States, the information that we have agreed to be an organ donor is on the back of our drivering license. It has a place that says "Organ Donor" and then will have either yes or no, depending on what you tell them. When my youngest daughter got her license a few months ago, the ladies at the DMV asked her if she wanted to be an organ donor.

I don't have a donar card but it does show on my driver's license that I am one. I have heard of them but hadn't thought about having to have one. I will have to check into that. And a living will as well. All of those things are important and folks just don't think about it until it is too late!

No, I do not have a donar card and have never had one. If we want to donar our organs then it can be put on our driver license saying we are an organ donar.

We don't have specific donor cards here, however, we are given the option to sign the back of our driver's license when we go to get them renewed, and I did sign that and have the witnesses signed as well when I was there to get my license renewed earlier this year. It has always been important to me since I was young because I'd love to be able to help other people as much as I can during my life and this would be a way that I would be able to have an impact beyond the period of my life.

yes i am an organ donor since i want to be cremated there will be less of me to burn if they take some stuff and i live a pretty healthy lifestyle so they will probably take allot :) i don't have to have a card as they have you decide when you get your drivers licence here if you will or wont be i assume that you can change it later on if you really want to but i cant remember because i don't have any reason to. so all there is to say i am a donor is a little heart symbol on a piece of plastic in my wallet.

We have it put on our driver's license or state ID if we do not drive. That way we do not have to have a separate donor card.

I have donated my whole body to science. I will not be needing it after I pass so it may as well be used to help medical science find cures.

I'm an organ donor and carry a card that also includes my blood type. My husband is not an organ donor. He says that they'll kill me quicker than they'll kill him since I have all those usable organs.

My drivers license has a notation on it in the back of the car that says I'm a organ donor. I don't have a separate card. When I applied for a license they asked me then if I wanted to be a organ donor and I said sure. You don't have it that way where you live?

I don't carry one because I'm not an organ donor. I might eventually apply for one later on. I think it's a good and noble thing to do.

I think it wonderful that you want to be a donar. I think it is great that you want to help those who need organs. Can you imagine how it would feel if your eyes can help someone who is blind. I want to be an organ donar myself. I am not sure if it works this way where you are from but here when you get your driver's license there is a box you can check off that asks if you want to be a donar.
