What movie did you see that you never thought you would like but you Really liked a lot? Mine is The Incredibles Why? @reasons. First ,it is animated.I don't usuallylike animated films and second, It is a " family film" The words Family Film makes me turn the other way. it usually means a film soo sweet I wouldn't like it.It was made for little kids and their parents. But I liked The Incredibles. It was funny and so entertaining. What is the film you liked even though you thought you wouldn't?

I have young children and I can see your point. In addition to the Incredibles I would have to say that there are several made for kids movies that I was surprised I enjoyed. I made the decision to watch these movies with them to to keep an eye that they were watching something appropriate. I was surprised to fins that I liked many of the. Another one is Kung Fu Panda, as is Shrek. I think the movie makers are taking into consideration that many parents watch movies with their kids, and they include things in the movies that they enjoy as well.

That and they are thinking ,if adults that aren't parents like the film, they will tell their friends and then their film can be a blockbuster.

I think the Incredibles is a really increadible film. There was never any movie that I didn't think I would liked but liked. When I first saw the trailer of the Incredibles I thought that I would really like it and I wasn't disappointed when I finally saw the whole movie.

I liked "The Others" better. It is my understanding it was filmed before, but released after "6th Sense" I like it ("the Others") a lot more.

'Law Abiding Citizen' was a movie I thought I would never like. It was an action flick about a man who killed people while he was still in jail. I figured it would be terrible but all my friends wanted to see it because Gerard Buttler was in it, and I couldn't argue with that. So I ended up going to it and I ended up LOVING it! It was so amazing. I got really into it and would love to see it again. Although there were some gruesome parts I had to close my eyes for, I really don't like blood. But the mastermind of this moving blew me away. I highly reccomened it!

I've had several....but recently: Twilight - My first thought was, "A romance between a human teen and a brooding vampire, didn't I see this story when it was about Buffy and Angel?" I went to see the film because one of the supporting actors is one of my very favorites (nevermind gorgeous and at first I thought it was just okay. But after about a week of thinking about it I couldn't wait to see it again. Wristcutters - A Love Story - I guess, with this one, it wasn't so much that I thought I wouldn't like it as I didn't really understand what it was about until I got it home and re-read the synopsis. But I loved it and even put it on my Christmas wish list this year. Stay Alive - This is an older movie (about five years now, I think) and the premise of the story (a video game that kills people) sounded pretty dumb but (again with the gorgeous actors) Milo Ventimiglia was part of the cast, even implied to be one of the main characters so I said what the heck. Even though Milo was only in about ten minutes of the movie, if that, I ended up really liking it. It was genuinely good and had an actual plot (that included Elizabeth Bathory the Blood Countess)

I would say "Lords of dogtown" It seemed a bit oldschool. In the end I really enjoyed it and I would recommend it.

Back many years ago, my son begged me to take him to see Beauty and the Beast. I thought, great another cartoon. I fell in love with it. Since then I go see almost all of the Disney movies.

I agree. The Incredibles is a very awesome animated movie. It is definitely suitable for children and family together. Fun and dazzle. For me, my view changed when I went to watch Witch Mountain starring The Rock. Thought that it was just another boring Disney movie, but it turned out to be super fun and entertaining to watch. The Rock can be funny too, and that's a refresher to watch, with the kids in tow with him.

Lemony Snickets... it looks like a weird kids movie, and it is weird, but Jium Carey is in it, he's hilarious and it's most definitely for an adult crowd.

The last film that came as a big surprise to me was Slumdog Millionaire. I don't know why, but if a movie is very high rated it doesn't tempt me to watch it. I usually do so after the first wave of extatic fans cools down a bit. I didn't know much about it but ther was just something that wasn't appealing to me. After I saw it I liked it a lot. The idea was very original and interesting. Another movie I simply adored was "Shutter". Not the american version, from 2008, but the Thailand version from 2004. A couple of friends kept telling me to watch it and in the end i gave in to their request. I wasn't sorry one bit. It is a very well made horror, filled with tension and with a surprising ending. That convinced me that asian horrors are the best. If not, why else would Hollywood make movies like The Ring, The Grudge, Uninvited, Mirrors, etc based on asian originals?

Ok, in my case it's not exactly that I liked the film, as it was a very poor adaptation of a book that I liked, when in the other hand I hated the movie. Even hating the movie and thinking is one of the worst book adaptations I've seen, I watched it 3 or 4 times. Why? Would you ask. Because of the main actor, Stuart Townsend . He looks absolutely gorgeous in that movie, so I would not concentrate much in the rest of the movie. The movie I'm talking about is Queen of the Damned. By the way, I liked The incredibles too

That's a good question. I've been persuaded into watching a lot of movies that I didn;t initially want to see, and enjoyed them. One I can think of now is Keeping the Faith. I thought it'd be just another romantic comedy, but I really liked the way the movie incorporated religion into the mix.
