I just cant sleep when I am angry. Like last night I am quite angry with the competition of my group with our anniversary party. Imagine out of 9 participants we where judged the 7th. Considering the nice presentation and well rehearsed dance. When our group was called as the 7th I walked out. There was a wrong vote, and we are all angry. I cant sleep. I dont usually get angry.

Oh it could not be fair, if you really did good on that competition, well it happens sometimes especially when its like in a company where other group were close with the judges. But its like a game, there's a winner and loser. So even though you lose what matter is you give your best and the prize could be a bonus. I hope you feel better now:-) By the way you lose twice because you didn't able to sleep right away. Anyway that's life. Well I'm sure those who win are not fully happy because they know they're not good enough. Thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

I make sure that i never go to bed angry. I sort everything out, because you never know when something can go wrong. It is very unhealthy to go to bed angry, no matter what caused the anger or who you are angry with. Resolve all issues and everybody will have a good nights rest.

Well it's good that you didn't sleep with anger in your bed. It's a good habit. Actually when we get angry when someone or something, we're the one who suffer, where the one who can't able to sleep while our opponent did have a peace. Yeah, it's very unhealthy to keep anger in our heart as it result to certain kind of disease. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I often go to bed with an angry feeling and it all rests on my wife. We are having problems and we can never agree on anything. At night when I am home from work and gong to bed I try and give her a kiss on the lips she just turns so I give her a kiss on the cheek. That upsets me. We have not kissed on the lips for over a year if not longer. I am not sure why but we have not. My mother-in-law is living with us and we are constantly arguing. She thinks that she is one of the parents and she can tell my kids what to do even when I am there. That upsets me too. I go to bed angry but I usually can fall asleep right away.

Well it's good that you able to sleep, well I think you're just used with it. Although it could be real hard on your part. I don't like living with in-laws, as it could create conflicts in your relationship with your partner. Especially those in-laws who often interfere with family decisions. When it comes to kissing, didn't you ask or talk about it with your partner? There might be lack of communication in your relationship. You can work it out, just to give you peace before you go to bed and of course to have peace in your family. I'm sure you can make it. Good luck! Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Hi careguarden!! I can be able to sleep when I get angry but it takes me 30 minutes to 1 hour before I fall asleep. I have to make sure I patch things up before going to bed. for example, I had a fight with my bf, I have to talk to him and work things out. I don't go to bed unless we forgive each other.

Well that's good, it better to settle everything before the sun rise, or much better before we go to bed. It's really difficult to sleep when you don't have peace with mind, and when you're stressed out thinking of so many things, especially anger in your heart. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

It's difficult for me to fall asleep when I'm mad at someone or something, let alone get a sound sleep. Even if I'm tired and really want to just close my eyes, my head is like spinning with all those thoughts and emotions at the moment. Thank God, it's not that often I really get angry like that.

Well, you're not alone, I also experienced the same thing, my mind always attached to the things that makes me angry as if it's printed on it and I really find it hard to sleep. It's true what they said that anger is not a good pillow. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I'm a pretty easy-going kind of person, so I don't really get angry a lot. But when I do, there's no way I can just sleep. I can't really do anything when I'm angry. I usually have to calm down first (usually by ranting, followed by playing a simple flash game, and then watching or reading something funny), and then I can go to sleep. If I try to sleep while angry, all I'm going to be thinking about is what made me angry in the first place. And if I keep thinking about it, there's only a small chance that I would actually fall asleep.

Oh, now I know, no one can really sleep with an anger in their heart. I also experienced the same thing. That's why when I get angry I really try hard to figured out everything and make my self calm and relax and that sometimes I make peace with the person whom who cause such emotions in my heart just to make myself able sleep. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Don't go to sleep angry if at all possible. You wake up with it still on your mind. Best to clear it up before bed time. I rarely go to bed angry about something and the times I have it has taken me forever to sleep and I wake up feeling worse than I did before I went to bed. Best to resolve before bedtime is my answer.

I can sleep when I'm angry at someone. I try to calm down when I'm angry though, regardless of whether or not I'm about to go to sleep. I'll just sit quietly and breath, sort of meditating. So, by the time I go to sleep, I feel relaxed.

Hey careguarden! I don't like to go to sleep when I am angry. I especially don't like to go to sleep when I am angry at someone in particular! And if it is my boyfriend that I am angry at it really upsets me to go to sleep angry since he is sleeping and snoring right next to me and I get even angrier because he is sleeping and I can't!lol But, I take things to heart and when I'm angry at someone I can hold a grudge for a long time so my friends know not to piss me off because it can be a very long time until I forgive if I do at all!

careguarden I seldom get really angry as it just wears you out and sometimes when someone says something here on my lot I just count to one hundred and try and cool down. I seldom can sleep if I am feeling angry. I sometimes get irritated a t my roommate as I can do nothing About her odd antics at times. just have to put up with her oddities. I am not going to move to another room as i have my computer and monitor all hooked up to cable now. and it would cost a mint to undo and move to another room and have them hook it all up a gain. get along with roomie is the best way, smile and the world will smile withyou.

I can't sleep if I'm angry. Even if I manage to drift I wake right back up. Anger is a feeling that I just can't ignore thankfully I don't get angry often. If I do I need to address it and typically in a calm and cool manner rather than yelling and screaming. Yelling and screaming just makes anger worse.
