OKAY - here is my vent for the day!
If I see one more dang discussion about someone recieving a mylot reward or someone asking what one is I am going to scream!!!
First of all isn't posting that you have received one considered a "milestone" post- which is against the mylot rules?!?!?!
Second of all...for those of you who are just here to waste time and duplicate posts..... Here is a link once again to Alice explaining mylot rewards and every other "new" feature of mylot! http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2251406.aspx
For those of you who haven't read the mylot discussion guidlines, here the are:Take not of #5 (bold)....mylot rewards is simply rewarding you for something you should have ALREADY been doing!!!

1. Please take any warnings you get from the myLot staff seriously.
2. Help us out and report trolls, flame wars, and troublemakers by sending an abuse report to myLot.
3. Help out when you can. The myLot staff tries to monitor the site constantly, but we also need your eyes and ears to catch problems when they arise and report abusive behavior.
4. Be sure to rate users’ discussions, responses, comments, and photos for the new myLot reputation system. The myLot reputation rating is decided by myLot users.
5. Make sure you search for existing topics before starting new discussions.
6. Please make sure you give your best effort to respond with quality responses. If you don’t know how to respond to a discussion, go on to the next one. Answers like “I don’t know” or “I don’t care” don’t help anyone and will be removed.
7. Make sure to post useful links in discussions when necessary to provide authoritative guidance or to refer to a third party article.
8. Please use myLot messages to chat back and forth with your myLot friends. Make plans for the weekend, schedule a time to meet for fun, or just talk about what happened today at work! If you would like to know more about a certain myLot member, request them as a friend.
9. Make sure you ask for clarifications on discussion topics or responses when necessary or help other users to get their point across if they are not able. We like to think of ourselves as one big happy family.
10. Feel free to contact us if you would like to advertise on myLot.
11. Post in English, unfortunately the staff at myLot is not bilingual.
12. Please let the myLot staff know if you are having any issues, by sending us a private message.
13. Feel free to express your happiness with the myLot community. We love hearing how much you like myLot.

I have seen several but seeing as Alice did not explain EXACTLY what they are I can understand that there is some confusion.
Some if the discussions are indeed violations (the milestone type saying they received a reward of course) but there are also many others that are describing problems. Those are useful for others.
No, I am not fed up with them yet... ask me again next week please

Ok...cool...i followed your link and I get it...cool new mylot benefit. It really is but seriously...I did not see any other discussion regarding this. I'm on here a lot and sift thru discussions. There are so many members and discussions that they move quickly...not everyone sees them. All being said, I would not have asked but rather would have tried to figure it out by myself so that I would not be guilty of aggrevating someone with my stupidity.

hi warmweatherwoman oh my I am sick or those posts and the ones asking about the stars and ratings, and the ones, I have not made any money though I posted twenty discussions etc etc etc.Hope this will get read and reread by those who post these same questions over and over and over.

You sound how I feel- exhausted from the "What's my star rating mean?" or "When will I make money?" (that one is always posted by the newbies who have about 3 posts and think they have done something to deserve some earnings) questions...LOL.
I just feel like it wastes my time and theirs to not know the guidelines and rules about mylot posting...and I HATE to waste time!

Hello there,
It's nice that some one gets upset when ever a newbie keeps making the same topics all over again or groups of newbies makes the same similar topics. trouble is that they don't exactly read our discussions as they focus on theirs.
i still don't get this mylot thingy but for me, as long as am earning, i got no complain.@warmweatherwoman (2233)

You aren't earning if you posts get deleted because it was a discussion that violated the mylot guidelines. Thats mainly where my frustration lies ;)

Hello Warmweatherwoman!!
Im rather new here, I really enjoy participating in nearly all the discussions. Some I dont have anything to say to and I just move on.
Im usually the forgiving type of person and I do understand that for some people, rules being in English, it might not be easy to understand for them.
Im not saying you shouldnt vent about your frustrations, on the contrary, Id like to think that we do have some freedom to express ourselves here on Mylot and that this freedom does extend to everybody.
Some people might not have the luxury to enjoy Mylot for what it really is. Times are hard, people are in dire need of making a living.
I wish I could vent about my boss lowering my pay and then deciding that he doesnt have the money to pay me this week, so I'll have to wait next week. But I dont....well I sort of did now but Ive been very polite haha.
So I can sympathize with some people who might see MyLot as the light at the end of the tunnel if they have nothing else.
Hope I didnt offend anyone with my post.

hey there magic,
I'm not sure if its just having the luxury to enjoy mylot instead of treating it like a paying job...because if so, then why continue to create duplicate posts that will eventually be deleted and count for nothing?
I stated in another post earlier today- If you live in the US ...the money mylot does pay couldn't get you through a week- even with times being as hard as they are...other countries it may be different as the money exchange could be worth more than it is here in the US. But if you are here...you know you couldn't live off mylots income- so why not enjoy your time here for what it is....or just find another site that doesn't mind meaningless duplicate posts :)

Some are lazy and dont want to bother to check if there are duplicates? I know we wont become millionaires by working Mylot haha....maybe in other countries.....who knows.
I try to not let it bother me you know? Life's too short. Or maybe Im at that age hum hum lol.

I came in search of rewards discussions, because someone says she is getting messages that say "You could have gotten a reward, if you had been online."when she was online. I do not know about the rewards, except what I have read so I was searching around to see if anything else about this had been said. I was also wondering, but not hardly enough to ask, if it is possible to get a reward, but not get a message about it. I was pretty sure I got one, but never received a message. I at least know I got an earnings bump one day. I am very laid back about MyLot, coming here for pleasure and relationships mostly. If I get a reward, I will accept it, but I am not really anxiously seeking them.

The issue of having several discussions with the same topic has existed, since mylot started. I guess people are impatient, have few time to do a thorough search before they start a new discussion. I believe that the mylot administration should seriously consider doing something in the software to bar users from double posting on the same item. I think that it is the only way to stop such activity.

Wow! I am on here a lot and I have not seen even one discussion regarding mylot rewards. In fact this will really piss you off...I have no idea as to what they are. No worries tho because I'm not asking. I will look it up and figure it out on my own. I just never heard of mylot rewards and therefore no reason to even question what they were.
