February 27, 2010 2:18pm CST
If you been watching the news you will be aware of the 8.8 Earthquake that hit Chile today (ONE OF THE BIGGEST EARTHQUAKES EVER RECORDED. Now a Tsunami is on the way to Hawaii, Japan and Australia among others. I believe French Polynesia has been hit by a 13 ft wave and Easter Island has also been hit. I send my prayers to all those affected by today events. Please share your thoughts and prayers, as collective prayer is powerful.

I did not know there was an earthquake and a tidal wave threat until we turned on the Tv this morning. I do pray that the people there will be all right. I did hear that there was a lot of damage in Chile, but it did not get the over all coverage that Haiti got. It just goes to show, it is not where the earthquake hits, it is who it hits that is the most concern to the media.

My prayers go out to this unfortunate change of events. I can't believe this is happening in our world. I know this is asking a lot but I really hope and pray that there is minimal damage to Chili and Florida and any other area that is affected or will be affected. I honestly was not aware that such a earthquake could come to pass. God's blessings.

I was checking mylot for some posts that I had made months ago and I came upon yours. I sis not join your conversation then as I did not have electricity. I am chilean and I just came by now to say thanks for your prayers. We are recovering slowly from the mayor economic quake that an earthquake brings. Some small towns still have mayor problems but we are doing as much as we can. Unfortunatly, whensomething like this happens, help comes for just a few days. Even us, chileans people, tend to forget there are other chileans with difficulties due to the earthquake in February 27. THANKS A LOT!!!

hello friend, So far,it's the best thing that we can do at present. We cannot avoid or stop a natural calamity, not even the greatest and latest invention could ever stop it from coming or hitting our nation, even the whole world in one moment. Prayers and prayers alone can save us from any danger and harm, esp when it comes to natural disaster and accident that we cannot control the situation.

The 2012 theory is true? Nah Jk, but it's still horrible. How are they going to repair and improve to their Past-Modern state? It's horrible how bad the Tsunami that's going to hit. Prayers and Hope to them.

Yes I too am praying for those that were gravely affected by these tragic earthquake. I can feel for them since I too live in the pacific rim and also heard of the news that there was a warning issued for our country. But I felt relieved that I heard Hawaii was spared from the Tsunami as very light waves were experienced in that place. I also heard that Japan still has not taken the warning off and they are still bracing for it.

hi renaissance2010 wow I was just reading Tsunai reports and the Pacific coast of California may be hit too, and all those small island out there, oh indeed all the prayers I can muster will be sent to those in the earthquake zone and the tsunami path. just hope most all lives will be saved and people moved to higher ground. Here I am about fifteen miles from the Pacific ocean so no danger here but those who live right on the ocean front may be a different story, perhaps it will expend a lot of its strength before it reachs here. I hear Hawaii is in real jeopardy too.yes I do believe Collective prayer power works. its really powerful.

I am also sending prayers. I know in Hawaii they were well prepared. I hope they are just as prepared in the other countries, this is all quite scary. I hope no more lives are lost due to these natural disasters.
