Do you think there is any real advantage to these shoes? I hear a few of the ladies at work talking about them being very comfortable on the feet ect. However,is it worth the price? I've seen them sell for $99-119 a pair. Now these aren't exactly Jordans but they come w/ a dvd and command a hefty price. I had seen them in a magazine for close to a year and wanted to try them but the price is more than I wish to spend.

I looked at these when they first came out, as the design was strange to me but my feet are so painful I'll try almost anything. Most people raved about them but one said they fell apart too soon. However, the relief that the others were writing about made them worthwhile, in my opinion. I plan to get some of these just as soon as I can afford them--when the price comes down!

Hard to say if the price will come down. But there are similar styles just not as um.. bold or thick looking by other companies comming out that are a lil cheaper in price. Sadly if I wouldn't feel completly guilty they are on sale @ my work for $99 & I have a 30% discount + my employee discount so they'd run as much as my favorite Adidas shoes would. I'd say if ya lived closer LETS GO SHOPPING ;0)

One of my girlfriends got a pair of these for Valentine's Day and she says that she loves them despite the hefty price tag that is associated with them. For me, I'm not sure that I would be able to shell out that kind of money to try something that I'm not sure about. However, like some of the other people have mentioned, there are cheaper alternatives. There are some by Shapes available through Avon that you might want to try before going for the really expensive ones. The good thing about the Avon product is that they are satisfaction guaranteed.

Walmart sells a similar shoe made by Danskin Now for like $20 or $30. I have not purchased them, but I did try them on once. It feels weird, you feel totally off balance at first. I assume you'd get used to that. I don't plan on purchasing these shoes. They would be something you'd probably only want to wear when you're going for a walk.. and I cannot afford to buy special shoes just for walks, plus most of our walks are actually hikes so I need something more durable.
