I was wondering on how many of you who are devoted to their religion and belief, since most of the people that I meet are not really serious with their religion. They go to their church simply because it's part of their obligation or they are ask to, however they don't give it much value on their life. Are you serious with your religion and belief?

im a roman catholic and my parents and ancestor are. we believe in god but not to the point of preaching him in other places like what i saw in some other religion. they like go to every buses with their bible and preaching people then all of a sudden they will give envelopes for you to put the money as they said donation. im sorry if i hit someone else, but for me if they really do that in the name of god with their own will then why do they ask for money or perhaps they just used god for it. i dont even go to church but i do pray every night believing that god will take care of my problems. as catholic we can eat and do whatever we like as we have freedom, as god only want our freedom. what matter is we did not kill, we did not hurt our neighbors, we did not steal and we show love and respect to every one else, and for me thats what god all wanted no matter who we are and what religion we belong with.

Yeah, I agree with you. To believe in God is to live according to his will and that's doing good to others, show respect and give love to our neighbors, friends, family and to everyone. It's not on using God's name to gain something. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I was born, raised and educated as a Roman Catholic and I am very devoted to my faith. I had some very rough patches in my life and I don't know how I would have gotten through them if it weren't for my strong faith.

Well that's nice and I'm happy that you are devoted with your faith in Jesus Christ and found Him through all those hard times you been through. Because there are many people I know who happens to leave their faith when troubles slap their life. Anyway, keep on having faith and live with faith and love in God. Thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I am very very serious about my faith and religion/relationship with God. However, people looking in at me might not think so as I do not fit the mold. I worship on my own, having tried church, but may try church again later, if life slows down a bit someday.. I didn't give up all my friends, indeed I still party with them three or four times a year and the biggest and best party is at my house! (I only say that because God keeps enlarging my circle of friends:)! "God is love" 1 jn 4:8. He truly is. Someday every one will know him and will be fuLL of love... I don't fit the mold in other ways also (I'm an astrologer) but I've learned not to be sorry for that as I feel I am what God is making me to be, he has his reasons..

Very serious! I participate, to the best of my abilities and circumstances, in all its activities. I believe that my religion pleases God and so I want to please Him too by giving my full support. Matthew 7:15-22 (New International Version) 15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. 21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'
