I am proud to be a Filipino. But we dont have a flag or anything in our house that reminds us for our duties being a filipino. The only thing that we have is that we have it deep in our heart I guess.

well with or without our national flag at home its fine with me, coz just like what you have said it is not the basis or it does not measure our patriotism... and i know that in my own little way i can show my love for my country...

I am fine dear amiga, and you? Hope all are well. So, u dont have but do wish to have a flag in your home? I think having a flag does not mean that we are too much patriot. Patriotism lives in heart. But having a flag makes our home sweet, i think. Nice day always.

I do not, nor do I plan to anytime soon. I am not anti-American but I don't have the kind of feelings that would make me have a flag.

hello dear bhai, You made me smile with this (hehehe). I had a small flag,i mean,my daughter had our national flag on her room. Just a small one too...place on her study table. But...we had a big British flag at home...my mom gave this to us 7 years ago. We had this British flag even before we had our own national flag. And to think that the size of the British flag is 10x larger than the our national flag(hehehe...you made me think to buy a bigger flag now..our national flag) Thanks for reminding dear bhai

Hi Shibham, Yes we have a national flag at home and it is purchased for my son’s school program. I think when my son started his schooling we have a national flag at home. It is small but I can say ‘Yes’ to you. Doesn’t matter, isn’t it? I think nobody have the habit of keeping their national flag at home, this is a common thing. It does not mean that they are not patriotic. I don’t think we need to keep a national flag to show our patriotism.

hi sree, it is not a matter at all , whatever it is a big one or small? our patrotism never depends on sizes. it depends on feelings and emotions. isnt it? its not true that nobody, there are some persons i have seen who has the habit to keep a national flag in their home. it is true that keeping flag does not mean too much patriotism. thanks for response.

we don't have a single flag at home. but we have a chart of all the flags of the world. that is to give our toddlers something to read, something to learn. one of our kids already memorized the international flags and even the capital cities of each countries, at age 5.

The national flag should be respected and always placed on a pole , and in the evenings it should be lowered to half mast, having an Indian flag in your home is good .

Hi friend. Having a national flag in your home does not prove your patriotism. Its your heart, who reminds your duties. For me, my flag is a symbol of duty. Its my choice. Thanks for response. Lol

I don't think I even have one of those small flags on a stick that many use to decorate cakes for Christmas and the National day. I used to have one of the bigger ones one a stick, one that you can carry around, but it's still at my mothers place. Several people in the block I live have flag poles, I considered getting one but as you can get fined for not flagging on National flag days I dropped it. I'll never remember taking the pole down if I'm away when I'm supposed to flag. I don't know how serious they take it, but it looks a bit stupid with one empty pole on the National day.

My parents are government employees so we have our national flag at home. Its just a small flag hanging there. We were suppose to take it out after the Independence Day celebration but we have forgotten to take it away and keep so we just decided to have it there. I am not in my hometown now so I wonder if its still there cause the last time I visited, it was still there. The celebration of the Independence Day is going to be a few months from now so maybe my parents decided to hang still hang it there.

Hi friend. Most government employees are bound to have a flag in their home here, but that should be a govt. residence. I like the spirit of your parents and hope that they will prolong it. Anyway, may i know the date of your independance day. Thanks. Lol
