I bet i am one of the luckiest mommy in the whole world.Having a beautiful & independent 1 yr old daughter.MY daughter does things that other mommies wish their kids would do.My little girl have a good appetite, she never misses a meal(3x/day)& she eats alone( doesn't want me feeding her) using spoon & fork & believe me no mess at all.She uses her potty alone inside the bathroom(i haven't trained her yet but she knows already).Whenever she plays, she always return her toys to wherever she took it,& if she sees mess or garbage, she knows where to throw it.She fixes her bed,she choose what to wear & she wears her shoes alone & one good thing is when i tell her to take her afternoon nap,no second command, she sleeps right away( mostly other mom having hard time asking their kids to sleep) & at night her bedtime is always 8 pm,no need for me to tuck her in.She does what normal kids her age do,she loves Winnie d'pooh & Dora, she plays with her cousins, she sings, dance & love to pose in front of camera, she starts to count now...& of course, she hugs & kiss me..I am not worried but sometimes wondering if i need to or am just lucky....anyone,i need your expertise & advises....

I think your lucky to have that lovely daughter of yours. So theres no need to be worried about anything .But then again even if shes good and all you should still always keep up with giving her the best care that you can give , and i know that your very much capable of that stuff. Just continue what your doing right now and im sure you will be able to raise a lovely daughter sooner or later. Have a nice day and happy mylotting!

You don't need to worry...just be thankful because you are indeed lucky:) Just like I was with my older son...he was just perfect and at an age one wouldn't even imagine(like your daughter). My younger one who is now 3 is a good kid...but he isn't as near perfect as his older brother was at that age. I don't mind that either...but I now get to realize what the other moms were talking about earlier. My older son had a perfect meal and sleep routine, would have his meals (insisted on veggies and a balanced diet) on time neatly, T.V for only an hour everyday (half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening) and almost everything else you could think of:) We are lucky moms and need to be proud of our kids (I know I am of both of them - for different reasons though)!

Thanks...but just don't expect the same if you choose to have one more child. Each one is different and though I love him very dearly, my little one is so different from my older one and I've also learnt to be innovative with my requests to him and to handle his tantrums. Also, since my older one was this way, I had expectations of him and as he grew I forgot sometimes that he is a child too...and have to keep reminding myself before I react to his unexpected behaviour sometimes. It's not hard (especially with children like our first borns) but we need to remember to do it...that's all. All the best!

You are indeed lucky. Your daughter has learned so much at such a young age. Continue to guide her through the years and I'm sure she'll make you even prouder. Don't worry much, just don't stop teaching her and being with her all the way.

hi shenlynn You sure do not need to be worried as you sound like a great loving mom with a sweet little princess who is learning well from her great mom. She sounds healthy and happy and posssibly is going to be a little person with gifted mentality. I bet she will be a gifted child in school and may be moved ahead of the others, she sounds more like a two or three year old in accomplishments. as far as I can see you are very lucky and should not be worried at all. others may wish their child was that talented but all children grow at different paces. I would not change a thing if I were you as however you are teaching her you are doing a fine job. lol lol lol.

Hi, shenlynn. You have a beautiful and brilliant daughter. She is doing very well for her age. Which is beyond exceptional! She is very independent for her age which is a good thing. She is doing many things that the typical one year old child is not doing yet. I have an cousin whose daughter could talk in complete sentences at the age of two. I was astonished. It is so much that a child can learn as they are younger, a parent will be surprised. Continue to flourish your daughter with love and many fun times together. You have done a great job as a mom.

Well you better to be thankful, at one year old she does know a lot of things. And this is the best time to train her. I am not sure but most children gets challenging when they reach 2.

So wonderful to hear about your darling daughter. You are certainly a very lucky mom. While mothers usually have a tough time feeding their kids and training so many things your daughter does them so smoothly without any fuss.Hats off to your little angel.

you have a lovely daughter and i wish for your and her better years in life. im not a parent right now but i hope what i can say may give you some help. actually while she is still young you can and will possibly be able to inculcate most core value you want her to carry for the rest of her life, i mean values taught by parents are the the ones that are never lost through age right? i think that's all i can say good luck with your daughter
