The night before the race I sleep in my racing clothes. Then after the race I always go to McDonald's for an egg mcmuffin and an orange juice.. those are my "always" that I do around a race.. what are your personal race traditions?

I like watching from the sidelines, with a foot-long hotdog. cdrxo

I've only run a couple of races but I like to stand the side lines cheering on the ones who come in after I do. I'm a slow poke and want to encourage the other slow pokes :) we are all winners on race day!!

That's Cool!!! I went back one time to get my nephew and run across with him - it was his first ever 5K!

I don't know if I'd like sleeping in my racing clothes... mostly just the sports bra would be bad really. My main ritual is just waking up early, not eating breakfast, and then after the race either celebrating or thinking about all the stuff I did wrong. I'm hoping after the 5K on Saturday I'll be celebrating!
