Whut's a Gemballa?

Dearra and I were driving back from her appointment today when she said, "what kind of car is that? It looks like a matchbook car." And there was this fancy orange car, looked like a race car, off to the right hand side. We got up close enough to read "Gemballa Mirage GT". So when we got home, we looked it up: http://www.rsportscars.com/porsche/2007-porsche-gemballa-mirage-gt/ Sure is purdy. I really thought it was an Italian car, but it's a Porsche. Want one? Only about $300,000. I bet it doesn't come equipped with children's car seats!

Brand new name for a car for me.

I was trying to decide if it was a new name to call someone or something.

I think you and Dearra have fun with your little excursions. No ducks today, or beavers or coots or loons. Just a Gemballa. Oh well.

Wow! that is some car!..Love it..would love one in canary yellow..hell I would take one in any color they have..lol..but that is a steep price for a car..but I guess some people feel they need cars like that.

, I choose Canary Yellow because I like the color alot and always wanted a canary yellow Mustang or a Volkswagen bug that or the lime green..lol

hi dawnald wow a Gemballa for only three hundred thousand.oh my 'word. I suppose there are people who could afford it as they would not make them otherwise. wow what I could do with that much money. Nope, think I will pass on that one, thanks anyway. I can remember when my son wanted a fancy car, Mercedes benz I think it was but he grew up and past that phase.

i don't think i ever saw a Porsche in my whole life. maybe in a movie, or a magazine. on the internet, i am sure. but not in real life.

and i don't think i will ever own one of these cars. 300 thousand? oh no, i guess that would mean a house and lot if i have money of that amount.

I'm too pratical to spend that much for any car. I am perfectly happy w/my little jeep liberty. I can't imagine having that kind of money to start with.

Nah, I'm happy with both of the cars that I have. They may not be quite as fancy as that, but they're paid for and mine...all mine (((laughs wickedly))). LOL Okay, so I do have to share 'em with hubby, but still, they belong to me...I think.

Best of all they didn't cost anywhere near as much as that! For that much money I'd rather put it towards a house than a car. But that's just me. LOL Happy mylotting!

Uhmmm...Nice...No, not exactly a family car! Did you say $300,000? Uhmmm...To be honest if I had that kind of money to spend on myself I would go on a long world trip or something. I would feel too self conscious driving around in a Gemballa. It is purdy though...I’ll show my hubby, he may want one although he may have to wait until next pay day (LOL)!

I wonder if I can make enough on myLot to get one of them Gemballas - hee hee! I used to want a Corvette - and that was fancy enough for me. But I looked at the insurance rates on that car - eek - I wonder what it'd be for a car like a Gemballa!

Nice car, but a little too expensive for my likes. I prefer just an old F150 Ford pickup; something I can actually drive where I live. I have a nice car (1969 Mercury Cougar) sitting in the garage at my Mom's...I can't drive it where I live, so it sits at my Mom's. Thanks for sharing a picture of the car of the rich and famous...maybe it was the Arnie...?

I have never heard of this model. There are probably not very many driving around, either. Even if we had the "DISCRETIONARY FUNDS" we would not buy a car with it. Would we, Honey? I guess I could go to sleep and "DREAM ABOUT OWNING ONE, THOUGH."
