imagine the possibilities!!! lol! for the second straight day, i came to work with a massive hang-over. technically, it's middle of the week for me since my weekends come earlier so i decide to greet 4/20 by drinking and lighting up. had my favorite local brew, massive shots of tequila, at least a dozen glasses of rhum cola, and a couple joints to welcome 4/20. mind you, i haven't had that stuff for the longest time. it was a great night/morning. lol! i come to work stoked. i was so quiet in my desk and was trying my best to stay under the radar and not call attention to myself. lol! got busted by my lady boss but she was cool with it. didn't actually bring the topic up until we were with the other managers drinking out (so this is my second straight night drinking out). my boss goes "so allen, you had fun last night?". i was "um, yeah, went out drinking with friends". lady boss goes, "yeah, i can tell. something in your demeanor. usually you're cool and laid back but today, you were soooo laid back. kinda chillin' in the office,". i go, "yeah, i was picking my spots." lady boss goes, "i can tell. to your credit though, you did get a lot of work done today,". i smiled and said, "yeah i did but i get a lot of work done sober as well,". lady boss goes, "i bet you can all outdrink us tonight and still show up for work tomorrow and finish the pending project of senior manager so and so," i go, "yeah most prolly i can,". lady boss, "ok good. let's order a couple more bottles for everyone," i go, "sure!" with a smile on my face. so here i'm now typing this in mylot. i came to work just on time and will be working on the project after typing this out. lol! really a long shot but hopefully lady boss allows me to sneak in a bottle or two at work so i can take a swig while here. hahaha! talking about thinking of ways to improve productivity! hope the lady boss sees thing my way! cheers!!!

All I can say is that you have a very cool lady boss in there. I think you are doing find because your boss sees you can handle things despite the hangover you are dealing with at work. Very nice workplace you have in there.

hahaha! its not as hard as you think. definitely don't go with a flask. so not worth it and so obvious. my preference is to add a tequila to my mouth wash. the mouth wash covers the scent of the tequila and always gives me a little perk me up after brushing my teeth. lol!

Hmm.. I am definitely confused on what the fuss is about with 4/20. Anyhow, that's a big cheeky to be expecting that from the lady boss hehee.. However, perhaps it's a day you could just pass on smoothly with her, perhaps she does have a sense of humor. Couldn't say the same if she pulls this one on you in the near future.

hi all I can say if thats your idea of fun, go for it, just dont drive and drink though as its not cool to crash into some non drinking person who does not deserve to be hurt because you love to drink. also you have a very charitable boss. just hope you are not wor king in a hospital where there are ill people who really need people who are not hung over to care for them. to each his own.

Cheers!!!! Yourself. I would lay off the drinking alittle, my Mylotting friend! Kills brain cells you know. You may be productive for a time but not so after a while. Sadly so. Plus it pickles your liver and its expensive. The only way to improve to find other ways to entertain yourself.

hahaha! between lighting it up and driking i would give lighting up. drinking not so. lol! don't worry, i drink in spurts. i can go on for months without drinking but when i do drink usually it would be 3 straight days and then take a break for a week or two and then go on drinking for another set of days. brain cells grow back same thing with the liver. best bit of good news i've heard this week. lol! cheers!!!

Drinking is really a addiction and not easy to quit all of sudden. But good thing is there are many rehabilition center for helping to get rid of these habits. Try them and make a great change in your life.

Wow, so lucky of you to have a boss who is cool and take your drinking as a part of life. That's fine but don't over do it, lest you will be hurting your career. Fine boss you have eh.
