Do you think think that there is anything in life that can't be overcome?

I've often felt there is nothing in our life that cannot be overcome with time, love, friendship and attention to the matter. I know that some will disagree and often there reasoning may be sound but I don't believe that there is any burden that is too heavy if we but have the right attitude. The journey that each of us face in our earthly existence can have hardship as often as it is touched by joy. When we encounter adversity, the stress we feel can erode our optimism, eventually convincing us that the issues we face cannot be overcome. Yet I feel it to be true that there is no situation so dire, no challenge so great, and no choice so bewildering that it cannot be overcome. Though we may believe that all avenues have been closed to us or that our most conscientious efforts will come to nothing, we are never without feasible options. The best course of action may be veiled in doubt, but it is there. When we are honest with ourselves with regard to this simple fact, we can overcome anything because we will never stop looking for a solution to the challenges before us. Self-trust coupled with a sturdy plan is the antidote for adversity. Lets remember that our destiny is a product of our own creation. Even when it seems we have nowhere left to turn, there is a solution waiting for us. The only insurmountable obstacles are the ones we create in our own mind and these can only exert power over us if we let them. Uncertainty will always be a part of our existence, but perseverance and mindfulness will never fail to see us through to the other side of hardship where joy can thrive. Let's try and remember that no matter what life places at our feet, there is absolutely no situation that cannot be resolved with time, love, and friendship.

Challenge is built in when we choose our lives. Without challenge life would be dull and pointless. We build in our hardships and our joys. Life is a wonderful trip, an unmatched experience, and because our lives are of our own choosing we can never blame anyone, anytime, for the trouble we may find ourselves in. We are Creators as we go through life, creating each moment of every day. Its best to remember,"God helps those who help themselves! Be Thankful for life's small favors, and God will come through with miracles!"

Very well said barehugs. God does help those who help themselves as well. I love this discussion. Very well written and thought out. Thank you for posting. The only trouble I find with the whole point of this discussion, is how about when someone has an invasive cancer? Is this what is referred to as a tired and broken body? I believe that we have the power and opportunities to overcome all hurdles in life. The problems we face is what builds charecter. What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.

Hi barehugs, I completely agree, life would be dull and pointless without challenges and I too believe we create our own experiences. Life is meant to be enjoyed and and we can't blame another for our problem although most people try. Blessings.

Hi Pose At first it feels like we will not overcome it but if you put your mind to it and it will be stressful and hard no matter what you can overcome it The sad thing is to many People give up and will not fight because they think it is the end and they can not cope but at the end of the Day you can cope if you put your mind to survive In case anyone reads this and thinks I do not know what I am talking about, believe me I do, I have had to survive from the age of 5 up until 5 years ago, when my Life settled Yes I am scared for Life but I hve survived like many other People in this world

Hi Gabs, I am reminded of the story told about the great inventor, Thomas A Edison. It is said that when he was working on the light bulb and had failed a hundred times, one of his friends advised him to quit saying that he knew no more now than when he had started. Mr. Edison is said to have turned to have turned to his friend and said,"oh but I do, I know a hundred things that won't work". We should never give up but believe that things are working out as they should. Thank you for commenting. Blessings.

yes you are right if we think we cannot do something or face something or live through it we willnot be able to do anything. We can always do more than we think we can as God is not going to forsake us if we keep him in our hearts. I am dealing myself right now with big problems but again I think we can always find ways around, over. or through a big problem we just have to remember we can always do a little more than we think we can.time love and friendship and I am afraid I must add money to the mix here in this day of bad US economy.

Hi Hatley, We never know what we can face or what we can do until we are in that situation. In good times people come to expect so much and when we have to start doing without we often wonder how we will manage but there is always a way. Thank you for commenting. Blessings.

In my life this has been true, but I have had an easy life, always a roof and enough to eat and feed my family. If I were living the life of many of the world's people, in war torn areas or poverty where hope of anything better is small I don't now if I could feel as positive toward what life brings. Many years ago I read a book written about a street in India where the poorest of the poor lived and how they had learned to treasure each day at the time I could understand this point of view but I was never sure that I could live like that.

Hi savypat, Most people put a great value on life even when they have nothing. My feelings are that if we knew nothing else, we would value what we had. Thank you for sharing your thoughts here. Blessings.

Hi ericpapast,I agree that many things can overcome us if we let it, but that is the whole point. There is a solution for every problem if we are willing to search for it but it does require patience,of which many of us do not have enough. Thank you for your comment. Blessings
