Crazy Dog!

So my brother took my dog for a walk today. So he comes up and tells me that he got hit by a car. My dog didn't really get hit by a car. So my brother tells me that while he was on the floor my dog licked him and ran back to our apartment building scratching at the door to be let in. When no one let him in he started looking for people, I guess for help. My brother is okay and is in the hospital getting checked out. I still can't believe this happened and I didn't think my dog was capable of that because she is all over the place. But something like this is just a warning. It's been a crazy day but I am so glad that it was not worse than what it is. My dog is now laying down resting (what she does best, after chewing up my stuff). Anything like this happened to anyone else? I'm also looking into getting her some advanced training classes for her. For like agility and stuff just so that she can be better.

That is funny. I also want to find a good training class for our pup. I want him trained as early as now. Like your dog, he loves chewing on things. And we have bought several pairs of slippers already because of him. So we bough him a milky bone treat already but he prefers our stuff. One adorable thing about Max though (when we're mad at him we call him Maximus.. LOLZ) He wakes up my wife at 12 midnight. My wife never have to worry about being late for work because Max takes the initiative to wake her up. My wife's shift starts at 4am.. and I guess our pup had gotten used to seeing his female master getup during that time.. and decided to do her a favor.

Yeah no matter how many toys or treats I get my dog Gandhi she still likes to chew on some of my stuff. She's just too funny. You know what my dog does the same thing. She wakes me up at 6:00 at the same time that my alarm clock rings. Sometimes I hit the snooze button but there she is barking away at me to wake up. Which is good or I would stay in bed sleeping. That is so cute that your dog does that.

i think dogs are great pets. they can sense if there owner is threatened so they try to protect their master. there are dogs that can sense if their owner is in danger. i have seen and watch many of theses stories about dogs saving their owner

Yeah dogs are just amazing. I used to be really scared of them but now I'm not and it just depends on how the owner trains them and raises them to be. I want to get my dog trained so that she can be friendlier with people 'cause she doesn't really like strangers too much. But I guess she's very cautious about the people that she sees around her.

hi ayumitakashi not to me but I met this lady with a gorgeous golden retriever who knew when her blood sugar was running low and would grab her sweater sleeve and tug her towards the room where she kept her glucometer and some hard candy and some orange juice just for low blood sugar. She told me he was always right too that when she checked her blood sugar it was always low. she said he would stay right with her until she drank some orange juice or ate some hard candies. It seems that some dogs can be trained to know when the diabetic is having low blood sugar and they are really accurate too. I am a diabetic and wish I could afford one of those diabetic knowing dogs but they cost a bit. Dogs do have keener senses than we give them credit for. once my dog almost knocked me down when we were going for a walk on a foggy morning , then I looked where he was barking, that whole section of pavement ahead of us in the fog had caved in to a sink hole and what was worse was that there was a pickup sitting in the sinkhole with an elderly man holding his head. so I took my dog home and called the police and they and an ambulance rushed to the scene. I guess the old man was okay but they really had a hard time lifting that big old pickup out of the sinkhole.

I think that story you just told me about the dog is just amazing. Both stories are amazing as a matter of fact. I find it so incredible that dogs can do things like this and save people every day. I used to be afraid of dogs but I decided to get this one and I am just in love with her and can't believe that things that she can do. Everyday with her just brings a smile to my face and all the crazy little things that she does. I think that dogs are amazing.

It is not the dog that has the problem, he was trying to comunicate. People r not training their dogs this simple lesson. What, ask your pet. If they r looking at u. Show me. it is easy and simple. If they don't move, grab their collar and the same time say show me. I train dogs , they do it all the time, show me what they want. REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV/ CARE FOR YOUR DOG/ PET, THEY WILL ALWAYS LUV U..
