What is your favorite nut?

(Besides me) Hahaha. I love hazelnuts. I think cashews are delicious. I get a yearning for pecans sometimes but they are very expensive. And brazil nuts are good too. I don't care for peanuts but do enjoy a handful of the spanish ones from time to time. And walnuts are very good for me so I eat some occasionally. (Omega-3). Oh, and lets not forget the almond. So which are your favorites? Are you like me and like most or do you have certain ones you like? Or, do you just like the human nuts like me? Hahaha

I am a cashew nut person, I don't eat nuts very often but I know a lot of nuts of the human persuasion, lol. I find nuts the kind you eat are too expensive so when I have them it is a treat.

As far as nuts to snack on by themselves, I absolutely love pistachios. They're absolutely delicious and it's hard to eat just one. I haven't had them in awhile now come to think of it and this discussion might just prompt me to go out to the store and buy a bag of them.

That is one I forgot to mention. They are so expensive around here I try not to think of how good they are. For me they are hard to quit eating once you start.

I love pistachios too. And I also love cashews. Nuts are very important in our country and culture. In our country in the festival of BhaiTika sisters give their brothers blessing and give them nuts of various kinds. Specially, cashews, almonds and pistachios.

Like you, there just does not seem to be any kind of nut I do not like. They are handy to take along when you need a snack that will give you a lift. I just was reminded that I am supposed to be making up, or trying out, a chili lime nut mix for hubby. I had rather eat something salty than sweet most of the time.

Chili lime nut mix, huh? Interesting. I like those Chex mixes too. I like sweet rather than salty. My kids all seem to like the saltier stuff.

Honey roasted!! Now you're talking. My step dad took blanched almonds and put them in special oil combo then put spices on them and baked them in the oven. Good stuff!

Right now my favorite nuts are raw almonds. I am literally buying one or 2 bags of it a week and munching them down as a snack!! I love pistachios too (as long as they don't have that icky red or green die). My hubby loves walnuts - and yes, it is packed with Omega 3. Cashews are awesome - but kind of expensive too. I do love the flavored stuff with any nut - but they are salty snacks so we don't eat too much of them (I mean like chile lemon and such). I've noticed my skin looks better by eating lots of nuts!!

Raw almonds and walnuts are both very good for you. Walnuts have Omega 3 and 6 in them which is a very important nutrient.

I always like peanuts. I didn't care that much for Spanish peanuts. Honey roasted were my choice. I never like pistachios, but i had a friend who loved them. Cashews would have to be my ultimate. They are so tasty.

...Hi celticeagle. This is a hard one because I like so many, I was born on a farm around pecan trees so that probably was my first favorite nut. Then I discovered pistachios and fell for them, walnuts are delicious, along with brazil nuts yummy, yummy yum. Cashews are great, peanuts are boring but good in candy. So it would be very hard to choose just one as I love the taste of many, so fickle I am. "o). Take care.

Coconut is a nut? I guess It's the best nut for me if it really was. It's because I love the juice and the flesh of it. If I was lost in an island I would love to have a coconut tree and I would definitely survive. haha.. I also like Almond nuts. It's best when It's inside the chocolate or even almond with simply salt is good.

I have to say that walnuts are my favourite. Peanuts are an in-expensive snack so I have them sometimes too. I love all nuts basically…cashews, sweet almonds, pistas….but the bitter oily taste of walnuts are always a winner with me.

I love cashew nuts! Those are probably my favorites kinds. They are so expensive, though. I remember when I was a child, mother would have them for my birthday parties every year. They always bring back those memories whenever I eat them. I also like walnuts and pecans. I don't know if this is true or not but did you know that studies have shown that walnuts are supposed to be good to prevent alzheimer's? I especially like walnuts and pecans in my salads.

Hello Ms Celt, I love cashew nuts, but I take it moderately.Second would be almond this nuts is quiet popular in my place and affordable, but I love almond from USA so yummy. I love nuts just I can't take them so often, especially those made with more grease.Less grease would be preferable. Nice day!
