This photo shows my second all time lily I have in my various flower beds. This is not an Asiatic Lily I feel due to the shape of the petals. These petals are much thinner, yet longer than Asiatic Lilies. The color is a cross between brown and orange I think. What do you think? Do you know what variety of lily this is? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

hi Grandpa Bob they do not look like the tiger lilies my mom used to grow as they were orangey with brown stripes on the petals. to me these looked like a pretty deep red shade. I don't know what variety of lily it is but would love to research it. lol.

It looks just like this picture to me, so I would say Landini Asiatic Lily. http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/cheerpeople/lily%20garden%2008/?action=view¤t=july1001.jpg

Flowers - Here are some flowers I thought were pretty and took a picture of.
They do look somewhat like Asiatic lilies, but they are a bit different but they are very cool looking, I don't know what kind of liies they are but they are neat. I quickly perused a couple of web sites with pictures of different lily varieties and I did not see any that looked like those in your picture. But they sure are pretty.
