Cry - A good exercise

Do you believe Cry is also a good exercise, it stimulates your mental health as well as your physical health. If you cry out loudly it will releases your pain and cleans your sadness. I noticed in most of the illiterate people they cry out loudly if they feel sad and they pour out all their problems to others. But it is lacking in literate people, they always cry under the water or they wouldn't cry at all, they wanted to cover their problems with a smile even, which negatively works on their body and lead to heart problems. What is your opinion, share with me.

hi vandy but crying only helps for a short time, solving the problems that made you cry is the best idea even if it means going to others to help you find a way o ut of your troubles. I cried and cried when I first came here, did not solve one damned thing. My son finally getting a job now has me smiling all the time. no crying.

Hatley - I think that feeling of crying is something similar to gaseous thing! When we need to fart, we need to - it may be a temporary relief and a fresh one just starts building up but it is a relief never the less, and right thing as well. Dont you think?

And I agree it is not as if it is solution. Solution would be going for a nice ... you know what I mean. :)

hi jotomy no I really dont as a lot of prolonged crying just depresses you evenmore. cry and get done with it. actually crying does not solve a damned thing. Your problems are still there. what you need to do is solve it, or get help to solve it, or find people who can help you find a way out of your problem. Crying only helps for an hour, fixing your problems lasts much longer.A smile actually is good for our bodies as it increases our good outlook and makes us positive so something good can come into our life. crying and depression oftenlead to heart problems.

What you say is very very correct. Illiterate people show their emotions, whether joy or sorrow, outwardly and do not carry anything inside the heart. That is why they are strong. It is better to cry when it is needed and laugh when occasion comes. This way heart problem can be reduced.

Crying is a great exercise. It doesn't necessary have to be seen, or heard. You can cry at home in your own time, maybe you have a lot going on that week that was stressful. Maybe sometimes you don't have anyone to talk to or maybe you don't want to talk. Crying stimulates your mind and energy. Also writing down your feelings is also a great exercise, clears your mind of unwanted thoughts and also goes deeper into knowing why you are thinking that way. Hopes this helps.

I don't think crying for no reason is good for your health. People usually cry because of some event/person that causes pain or sadness to them. Crying is a good way to express your emotion and relieve your sadness/pain. Crying makes a person feel better. Shedding tears is like a way for them to get their problems off their chest. Some people do not want to cry because they do not want to show their pain/sadness to others. They think others see that as a form of weakness, especially guys. Another thing is that they want to hide their problems, they think if others know that they have problems, they might not want to get close to them. I think it's better to be happy than to be sad, crying a lot. But crying once in a while is fine if you want to get your emotion out. But just don't be too sad because that's not good for your health.

Hi iwinagain, most of the people don't want to cry because they feel shy or they want to cover their inner feelings /emotions which is not correct and not good for health too. Thanks for your nice response. Have a happy day.

I beleive that people dont wnat anyone thinking of htem less than they wish to so no matter how things hurt they bottle it inside. For me I cry. I have cried so much thi syear it is not really funny. The most recent was today because my brother will be buried on sunday and just thinking abt the fact taht I will no longer swee him makes me so sad and unhappy. I have opther problems too crashing donw on me and as soon as I have finished posting on mylot I am going to talk with GOd and have a good cry. Crying relieves pressure and tension and I normally feel stronger and better after a good cry. I do it in secret though.

I do find that, when I'm sad, crying makes me feel better. Crying definitely relieves my stress and it just releases my emotions. I think that crying is definitely a good thing, when you're sad, stress, anxious, and such.

Hi dodo19, whenever we are sad or feel so unhappy, or any one hurt us we feel to cry, i feel it is better to release through cry than carrying for further. Good response. Have a good day.

Though it is difficult at times to show your emotions in public, I do think that it is something that we need to be able to do. So, I am a person that will cry when I get too overwhelmed with different feelings. There are times that I feel like a fool when it is going on, but for the majority of cases, I think that it is the better option for me because I know that I will feel a whole lot better after I've let my feelings out.

Crying helps me mentally and emotionally. When I'm too stressed, I cry at night in bed and after that, I feel better. I get to think clearer when I feel better after crying.

yeah. crying makes you well. Giving up a tear is getting out of your sickness. Our emotions are controlled by our mind. Indeed, crying makes our mind at ease. let's keep our mind and our heart function well by crying. They are partners. Both brain and cardiac muscle do great responsibilities in our body.

I do think crying is a good exercise to a certain degree. If you're crying all the time and feeling sad then I think it's good to go talk to someone. It's also how you learn to share your emotions as well that helps determine how you handle your emotions. I was always taught as a child not to cry, and so I tend to hide my feelings a little more than some people would. I did cover my problems with a smile because I wanted to be happy and found that was a big mistake as it's created many problems, to which now I'm working continually to unwrap myself from all of it. People around you have a big effect on how you deal with things as well. If they're open and supportive then it might be a lot easier to share your emotions. If they're not, then it could be just the opposite.

Crying can release a lot of pent up emotions, so yes, it is a good exercise. And most of the time when we are weighed down with so many things, its good to cry for a little while. I just did this exercise last night and this morning. Just a little waterworks for something very personal.

Yeah, why not. Crying releases sadness, relieves tension and emotional stress. It stimulates our heart that makes good circulation of blood within our system. And crying washes away dirts from our eyes that makes our vision clearer.

Hi Jotomy, It is true that people feel better after crying. According to Shakespeare: "To weep is to make less the depth of grief." According to researchers, crying is good because tears appear to reduce tensions. So they are concluding that people who are able to cry may enjoy better physical and emotional health. Based on these researches I too agree that crying is a good exercise. But I have an opinion that crying is not a solution for any problem. It may relieve our stress but we have to share the problem with some caring people and find out a solution for the problem.

Hi Sreekala, how are you? after long gap. Yes sreekala most of the people (rather women i can say) after crying they feel better. I don't know why men will not cry, they will keep silent they will harm, may lead to heart deceases too. Crying is not the solution, i agree, but it will help the people to come out from that stress or mental tension or heaviness in the heart. psychology students thesis if you read, you will be knowing about the cry it varies from person to person. Thanks for your nice response. Have a good day.

Well, there are times where it might not seem good to cry for various reasons but its a lot better to do it then to hold it in. Trying to hold your feelings in for any reason is very hard to do and it can be very stressful on the body. I know when I try and keep my temper for whatever reason, it leads to a lot of headaches for me. Of course, when I feel like punching someone, its most likely not a good idea to punch someone. So there are times where it is just time to let loose and cry. Granted, it might not be something that you do not want to make a habit out of. Still, sadness can be an overwhelming emotion. It will get the best of you at the worst times. Crying is a natural reaction in many ways to something sad and therefore, trying to suppress it might be harmful in many ways.

Hi megamatt, i guessed this men will say like this, they will not feel good to cry in the public. Yes, it is true, that holding of the feelings will not be good for health. True, those people will suffer from headaches. All your reasons are fine. Thanks for your response. Have a good day.

well, i do love to cry. it releases my emotions and made my mind clear. but also has a bad after-effect, which is i feel my heart empty. an emptiness that's weird, it's like i don't belong to this world anymore. i'm not sure what kind of feeling that is. for the people who hide their emotions and refuse to cry, it's a pity then. God creates tears for that purpose of crying, just my humble opinion. Just cry, if you shy on crying, then cry when you alone.
