why it is not interesting...................?

When we are playing a game(some game) we put so much interest. Entire thoughts will be originate on the game only. Trying to get success in that game till the end. We never mind any comments. Whether it is so hot, rainy, sweating, threaten, hungry, weaken, lack of patience whatever it is we just don't care about them. Our eye is only on the game. If we are in a audience position we must encourage our favarable team(or fav. player), we are shouting for their win, dancing , clapping. We show our our feelings in a peak level. But when we come to studies and classroom(or any other important work suppose like our daily job or for house wifes daily work in the home(actually it is too hard)) we are show that much of interest as compared to a game, we are lacking the interest on that particular thing(especially studies). Why it is happened like this? how can we compare these two situations? And how can apply game spirit(winning spirit) to my studies?.....

I can answer that quite easily rameshchow: Let me give an example first. You know how when we small kids and we are so tired and so unmotivated then our parents or family member says lets go to an amusement park, shopping or to a water park. We instantly perk and all of sudden we get instant interest ant motivation. Same theory here honey, think about how interested you are with your studies but if someone said rameschow I am taking you to your favorite sports team event you would instantly have energy and motivation. So I would suggest that although it is not easy to do struggle, drag go to the finish line and in the end when you graduate and escalate to your career you will be the one to pay and take others to their favorite events. Good luck to you I know you can do it.

I do not know ramesh personally but from I have learned here on myLot is that he is a sweet boy. I can see that from his postings and what is so funny about that? I am a really caring person in general so when I use honey I am just trying to be nice though? I can call you honey also, but only if the discussion and my caring level is high.

rameshchow! The human mind always tries to seek easier options in life. Now, watching a game does not require much effort. Playing a sport requires some effort. Excelling in the sport requires tremendous effort.Would Sachin have reached this stage without hard work and aptitude? Studies is a sort of compulsion; it starts as a compulsory rigour to enhance our future prospects. First of all, any compulsion would face resistance. If you change that compulsion to pleasure then the same mind would not rebel. Coming to your own comparison, if the housewife keeps complaining that cooking is a drudgery she is never going to cultivate an interest and cook well. My lecturer said one very valid thing in my graduation class and I cherish her words till date--"Don't do what you like. Learn to like what you do" Having said this, you have to plod along in your studies, keep that as your topmost priority, work smart and results will trickle in.THen you will get a greater interest in this.YOur winning spirit would automatically win everyone over.

We choose to play the game. We don't always get to choose what we study. But when you do study in a field you have interest, it's not boring at all. For things you have to study even though you're not interested, I guess you just have to remember that doing it will help you in life, and the it's just a temporary situation. And who knows? It might end up being useful...

Take the most favorite songs you like, sweetie. With each subject you have a specific song. When you do exams you just remember the song. That helped with my nephew. Just try it.

As kala said, we've to improve interest in studies. we should realise the importance of that. Singing song and remembering studies wont help i think. It wont create interest on that study. Instead of that, it may divert us. I'll study only when im in interest. Otherwise i dont touch book also. If we study without interest, it wont deposit in our mind. Peaceful environment, calm mind, half stomach(yes. if we ate stomach full or with hungry cannot study), all these things will help us to study good. We should create interest on own.

but he(ramesh) is asking about the comparison between games and studies...... so we have to think in that direction also.

Yeah. We dont feel much interest in studies when compared with games. Because games is for relaxing. Studies are the thing we force to do. But if we like some topic/subject, then we might get more interest in studies too It depends on our mood.

I think it's up to each individual and they have to have the right attitude. Studying is not necessary for some as they do well without it. Some people need to study and can achieve success through their hard work . Still others find studying very difficult and passing exams is hard for them . When I was at school, I tried very hard but I was just unable to be brilliant or good at studying. My siblings all did very well but I did not have their abilities. My studies were very boring and my teachers were boring, there was no life in the classes and no interest shown in the topics we studied. If you find it hard to study and you have a teacher who is disinterested then you are doomed I'm afraid.

hi rameshchow apply a little psychology to your studying and imagine yourself all graduated and working in your field as an excellent worker whatever your field will be.See yourself' as a leader, one of the best , most competent and know your studying and learning will get you there.See yourself, imagine 'yourself just where you want to be and your studying is the'way to get there.also relax and make it fun, not tedium as we do when we play.

Games offer challenges and there is a time limit by which one has to finish and win. Accolades follow victory. But not so with studies excepting during exams. You can set your own challenge for your studies a time frame by which you finish your projects and train yourself to enjoy this activity.

maybe it's because we find some things fun and others not very much.^_^ i totally understand the finding-it-hard-to-focus-on-studies part. it's really not easy. but i'm still here. still studying, still suffering. i guess what makes me stay is my desire to succeed. roads will always be tough, and you'll have to go through them if you want to accomplish something. you can think of it as being in a game (though maybe not as enjoyable). just focus on your goal. the harder you work to win, the sweeter the victory will be;)

It Is your Attitude and Your less commitments to your studies are which makes you to feel that they are not interesting. If you listen to class with full concentration and commitment towards it atleast for one day then you will definitely not feel that it is not interesting

we often don't take interest in things we feel have no elevancy to us, its unfortunate thats how it goes. But thaats often the way we deal with situations. i towuld be nice if we took a step back ane evaluated pros and cons of situations instead of just coming out and saying we have no interest. good topic, this really made me think. now i'll reevaulate how i go about things. hmm.
