uPDATE ON OUR GIRL'S NIGHT OUT

I thought some of my friends on here would like to know we had a big time, a safe trip, a good supper at Cracker Barrel & real good fellowship among good friends. The gospel group was real good. I love music & enjoyed them very much. One of the 'girls' didn't get to go because she couldn't get off from work in time. She was the one that was going to do the driving so that bothered me a little but it all worked out fine. I think my son was shocked i was going. He said mom, that's a long way & y'all will be awful late getting back. He was right, lol. One of the girls forgot her money & we had fun teasing her about that. The two sisters treated she & i to supper & bought out concert tickets so all i was out for was a gift for my grandson that i bought at Cracker Barrel & i bougt 2 of us a bottle of water at the concert. I never thought about them doing that but really appreciated it but i'm use to paying my own way. I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy being w/friends like i did. Anybody got any trips planned i still have some money left, lol???

Gospel music is one of my favorite kinds. I'm glad you all had a great time and that you had a safe trip. Now maybe next time you get the opportunity to do this that you won't be worried.

i had a group of friends way back into high school...we were 6 girls...we kinda promised each other that someday when were older and had stable jobs to come back to the place we'd once had our field trip...it was a nice place you could ever imagine.. EDEN garden...all 6 of us still communicates with each other but of different places, careers, jobs, etc... I'm still hopeful that someday, somehow we'd be able to reunite again and make that promise come true.....

Here I am again! 
I have about another 50 more to go! I hate neglecting my friends so I saved all the discussions that were of interest to me or when I have something to contribute to and yours are always one of those!
I'm so glad to hear you went on this trip!! I bet it did you a world of good to get out and away for a little while. I hope to hear more of you going on trips because you deserve all the good things in your life!

i sure do wish i would stop being such a recluse but im really afraid i'll get out and have an attack of not being able to breath or maybe go blind from panic and not have someone there for me that knows how to deal with it like my daughter did. my sons ex that ive become friendly with again has asked me to come over many times especially now that it'd be nice to get away, she'd come after me and everything, but im afraid she wouldnt bring me back when i wanted to come back. so havent said ok yet.

Hi Bon, I can understand why u worry about getting out. I bet if u told the girl how u feel she would go along w/that surely. I don't get out much either. It's just easier to stay home but i do think it does u good to get out & go. Thanks for responding. Happy sunday!

Hi Bon-Bon, remember how outgoing I used to be? After my bout with throat cancer, Heart Attacks, and strokes I am now a recluse...I have to take medication to stave off my anxiety and panic attacks...My psychiatrist said I am also paranoid, but he then reversed himself when I explained why the Government and THE PUBLIC are out to get me...I am blessed to have my sweet, wonderful wife who is there for me Constantly...I am struggling to stay out of my wheelchair, so I won't have to rely on other people for transportation that has to fit their schedule...like you I'm always afraid they won't get me back to my sanctuary before the panic takes old...Still and all, isn't it wonderful to have a computer and a website like this?

Wow, Hi Anti, thanks for the update, God is good isn't he. He made a way for you to be healed and blessed to go at the same time. And don't forget the financial blessed you got too. I am so happy to hear you had a good time. I am not going to give up on my blessings, eventually I will be able to tell you about some interesting adventures I have had.

Thanks for your sweet response. God is good for sure. I think the ol' devil was after me this morn, couldn't get interested in the preacher's sermon like i should. I was hurting & couldn't get my mind where it needed to be. Another thing i woke up at four this morn & if it hadn't been sunday i would have probably gone back to bed . I think i'm still tired from the little trip we made but it was fun. I hopw u have a good adventure real soon. U could always come to tennessee & see me,lol. That wouldn't be very exciting, i'm sure.

That sounds like a blast. It seems like of my friends that I had in school are so different now then we were then. Of my group of friends, I am the only one married with kids. Our lives are so different now the only thing we have in common are the old times.
My best friend moved to CA w/her husband. :(

I'm thankful for all my friends whether they are married or not, lol.All the 'girls' that went i have known forever. Use to do their hair when i still could work. Too bad ur best friend moved away. I know u must miss her. Old friends are just special.

Hi, glad to hear you had a great night out and enjoyed yourselves. I thought it was quite funny to hear your son worrying about his mum being out late, instead of the other way round.
Its my birthday the end of this month and i have a good few trips lined up. 2 of my very dear friends at work are taking me out for a shopping trip and a meal. We are having a BBQ at the weekend before my birthday down at our holiday place with all our neighbours down there. My very dear neighbour, who is like a surrogate daughter is also coming down to stop with us. we are also going out for a meal too. plus my my husband is taking me out on the evening of my birthday(have to work that day unfortunately) so a lot going on, AND after my birthday, i will be exercising like mad and dieting after all those lovely yummy meals!
we do know how to enjoy ourselves don't we

tHANKS,WOW!! SOUNDS LIKE U ARE GOING TO HAVE A BANG-UP BIRTHDAY. i HOPE U DO . Sounds like u have alot of people that love & care for u & that's wonderful. I love it when people show that love.
my son is not use to me going anywhere like that. i thought it was funny to. I started not to even tell him. He use to tell me when he was going out of town etc. but that stopped a long time ago. He'll find out one of these days when my grandson gets older, lol.

I am happy for you my friend! You seem to be enjoying your fellowship with the ladies. Well, you deserve to have some fun! I do enjoy fellowship with girls as well. An all-girls trip is always enjoyable. In our church we do that every once a month. We girls sometimes go out for swimming, sometimes just food tripping, sometimes just sharing and some indoor games or whatever fun activities we could enjoy together.

It sounds as though you had a really good time! I haven’t caught up with a group of friends in ages! We are looking forward to travelling to the other side of the country in January next year to visit friends and family over there, I am really looking forward to it and I foresee great times ahead for us too!

I'm happy for you that your trip to the gospel group singers turned out so good.
I had a pleasant experience today. Once a year our MS support group is treated to lunch at Luby's cafeteria and a performance at the San Pedro playhouse. We saw The Music Man. The meal was superb; I ate until my stomach hurt. The play was great. I got to see friends that I only see once a month, if that often, and made a new friend. We got back to my house at straight up 6 PM, according to our clock. I poked my head into my husband's den and told him that I'd see him after the evening service. Since we don't live far from the church house, I only missed the opening announcements.
