Arizona State polls are getting hot! And I recently saw a telecast of an interview of Jan Brewer and my jaw hit the floor when I heard Brewer speak! She is perhaps the worst candidate for governer, be it any state! Terry Goddard is far better than she is! My vote goes to Terry!

I saw that video of the "debate", and she looked completely lost. The questioning with reporters was even worse. I can't believe this women ran this state in the first place.

I swear, I think in her time at the office she would have never taken a decision, instead just let her counsel handle it! She just warmed her seat!

I have heard her speak repeatedly BEFORE the debate and interviews. She was well spoken. I like her, alot of Americans like her. I would love for her to come and be Colorado's Governor. But I have to ask, what specifically dont you like about her? what is Terry Goddards stance on illegal immigration?

I KNOW you're going to think I'm only writing this because Brewer is a Republican but, seriously, WHEN has she ever been "well spoken"? She's a one hit wonder - "secure our borders" - and she just repeats that over and over again. Does anyone have any idea where Brewer stands on any other issue? Annie

Then you also apparently don't like the Federal Immigration Law because it isn't working either. At least, she is trying to do something. Unlike those in Congress who are sitting on their butts spending our money on useless projects that do nothing to benefit anyone. Stopping the businesses won't stop the problem either. Most of these under the table payouts are fly by night operations. They get hired a day, paid in cash, then let go. No paperwork, no payroll, no paper trail. If the Feds inquire, well they just run their "business" in another location.

Jan Brewer may not be the "best" candidate for Governor; but, when her only real opponent is Terry Goddard - Brewer is getting my vote! Terry Goddard was against 1070 (the anti-illegal immigration bill); and, he went behind everyone back to have secret meetings with the Feds about the best way for them to sabotage the bill. When caught in the act, he was unrepentant and actually tried to get Arizona to let HIM defend our case in court! If Terry Goddard wins; we might as well just tear down the fences, recall the border patrol, and change everything to Spanish to welcome any one who wants to come into Arizona and take things over.

As I heard several TV commentators say, that was quite painful to watch, wasn't it? How can someone have "prepared remarks" and get totally lost? What she DID say was rambling and barely coherent! Not to mention UNTRUE. She claimed she'd balanced the budget but I heard later that's far from the truth. Then there's the issue of the headless bodies; when her opponent brought it up during the debate she totally blew it off and, of course, didn't acknowledge it let along answer it, and the same thing happened afterwards when the press was asking her about it. It seems the beheadings she'd spoken of earlier this summer had never happened, at least not according to law enforcement and coroner reports. Did you hear that she's now promised not to have anymore debates? She claims she only agreed to this one to get campaign money, I think it was matching funds. I'm afraid it would have "cost" her less if she hadn't gone for the cash! Annie

And she dodged the topic later off saying that it was happening around the Arizona borders where Arizona's administration didn't have any authority! Liar Liar Pants on Fire!

Since I don't live in Arizona and really know little about one candidate and nothing about the other, I don't have an opinion on either of them. Why is Jan Brewer such a bad candidate? Are her ideas bad or is it her ability to speak? What makes Terry Goddard a good candidate?

Are you judging Brewer after hearing her only one time? What did she say that has you so critical of her? What did Goddard say that gets him your vote?

When will Jan Brewer ever get around to answering Terry's question about those that are supposedly being beheaded in the desert?
