Have you started reflecting on what this year has been to you?

I still can't believe that it's November. And all I could think of is WOW, I did made it! For some reasons, there were moments in this year that have made me think I wouldn't be able to survive the test of time. So all I can really say is that even if there's still a month ahead, I'm so thankful that I'm so blessed to be still breathing until today.

Yes, everyone gets to feel being emotional at times. But it is always wonderful to know that no matter what we've been through and all, we're still here.

In a lot of ways I feel the exact same way about this year as you do. If there has ever been a year in my life that has been full of trials and tribulations, it has been this year. We started off the year with my husband having to have a lithotripsy for kidney stones and the rest of the year has been dealt with through him having chronic pain of unknown origin. We are finally starting to get answers though and that makes me feel a lot better.

OWWW! I'm sprry to hear about your husband. But isn't it a good thing that you're still there for him and take care of him?! I'm happy to know that the road is getting clearer for you!

The year 2010 was a very special year for me. It opened a lot of opportunities in all aspects of my life. It was a life-changing year, full of struggles and challenges that helped me become a better person at the same time the opportunities that were opened were just fascinating. It brings me closer to my dreams and ambitions. I've had a good year in terms of my earnings online, surpassed the $2,000 mark and is still increasing, on its way to $2,500. I've had a serious relationship from where I learned a lot of things and from where I developed an urge to become a better person. I was able to set my priorities and goals. I'm about to finish my studies, I'm actually thinking of a second degree but that is still a little too far away. 2010 was the best year in my life, I guess!

yes. Before the day ends I always reflect to myself. I cannot say this is the best year in my life. There are times I went home feel defeated. Through reflection I was able to appreciate these trials and believe God is still good 'coz there are still lots of beautiful things that happened in my life.

God is always good. At times we fail to recognize His goodness because we seek for more, we want more than what we need. I realized this year that there are tons of hopes and dreams that broke and torn me. I'm devastated. But when I started looking on the brighter side - on how good God is, I began seeing the things I've never been able to appreciate before. I'm happy that despite it all, you're still able to appreciate God's goodness in your life!

Yes, I had some news at the start of the year which shook my world somewhat but, although my life will never be quite the same again, I am blessed that I still have life

Everyone has a story to share and a despair to encounter but it always amazing to know and realize that despite this all we're still here, alive and kicking!

I know, it's crazy how fast time flies when we're looking back at it. It is already November, meaning we only have 2 months left of this year! Which is insanity if you ask me. It's kind of scary. This year..Has been an interesting one. Although I don't feel like I've accomplished nearly enough yet (so I better get my butt in gear for the next 2 months lol)

Sometimes I feel that way. But hey, as long as you're happy, everything will be fine. There are times that we are too busy reaching for our goals that we tend to forget how to enjoy our present life

Hey Lady, Thanks, for sharing your perspective. :O) Someone once said that any day above-ground is a good one. :P Well, I wouldn't go that far. But it is good to be appreciative of our basic abilities as players in the human game. To "count our blessings," as it's often put. Over the past few years I've been through some difficult times when I wasn't so sure I would make it, either. In fact, a few months back, I was in an auto accident. The car got totaled. Fortunately no one got hurt. So, I sure appreciate being in good health despite that. Also, I had gained a lot of weight & I'm getting back to normal. I'm definitely glad about that. I do my best to play Pollyanna's "Glad Game," where you look for something--however small--to be glad about in every situation. Oh, that fictional girl's a LOT better at it than I am. But it's helped me be more appreciative, in general. That's why I'm rereading POLLYANNA. I'll probably pick up the movie again, as well. Sunshine & Blessings, Giovani

Why do I always love your responses! You had me wide-eyed and teary. A lot of things could happen to us in every year. But the fact that we're still here on the end of every year, it should make us happy and appreciative of everything that kept us still - that helped us go through everything without losing our sanity.

Yes, and I have totally been blessed this year. Money was running low and I needed to sell my house in a market that was horrible this year. However, God blessed with a buy and I was able to get out before I lost everything. Now I'm living in Puerto Rico without having to deal with a winter climate, fresh fruits and veggies in the yard and alot of sunshine. God has truly blessed me and I'm so happy.

Hello invisblelady, yes, I already know what it has been. it been catching up on paying bills from IRS make a mistake in the amount they sent me: they sent me way too much money and I have to pay them back which I did to make sure money is there for youngest in college and books to my oldest daughter car break downs though this year. The plus side is I found a really good guy for a boyfriend and I living with Alan and never lived with any of my other boyfriends since my divorce and seperation in 1992. I got a promotion in night job so I am very thank for for the extra pay since my day job they took away over time and ex-husband is on welfare and will not pay more even though he owes the children money. Learning how to get by in simple things in life and my children learning to do they same with me and not to expect much from me. Thanks and have a great end of the Year! Sincerley Unique16

Oh, wow! WOW! No words for how awesome you are! Getting through that life you had is never easy - I've never been there but I know it's not easy coz I know some who didn't survive. I'm happy that you finally found someone whom you could share your life with. Sometimes, we really need special people who will make us feel loved and protected that we'll be able to make it through everything as long as we're together.

this year has been a good one to me, not to mention a broken heart and a realization that i have not moved on from a heart break. But anyway I am happy in where I am today. I am most happy that in some way, I have survived all the trials that has come in my way and some kinda learned from it. The best thing that happened to me is that I am now in the other side of the country doing some great things for myself. Time flies fast and I can't imagine that the year is coming to an end. We got another year again to enjoy our lives!

I'm happy for you! It's not entirely easy to just get out of a relationship especially when you've already rooted deeply that it's not easy to pull out anymore. Keep it up. Wherever you are right now, you'll be happy as long as you stay put and stay strong!
